Description: The article is about aflac login. The passage talks about the author’s story. When her husband passed away unexpectedly, she was thankful for the life insurance that helped her family move forward. The proceeds from the policy helped her focus on raising their two young sons without worrying about money.
Jamie and I met in college,we dated for about two and a half years and then married in March of 2003. I have two little boys Parker and Brady. We have our dreams for the family. My grandmother owns property around here,so he always wanted to buy ten acres of it so that he could ride the four-wheeler and maybe buy a horse, those were the dreams, but now it’s staying around here in Columbia,I have two kids and I have a good life.
Jamie worked for American family,he had developed relationships with all the agents around town,we already had a connection with Alan. Alan was my grandmother’s agent,I remembered one day Jamie come home and said that Alan was coming over,we were going talk about life insurance.
It was homecoming day for me at the high school that I taught at,it was my favorite day, during the parade,Jamie and the boys were at home, they were playing soccer outside in the backyard like they always do. During that time, they were playing Jamie collapsed,he collapsed and the neighbor came over and started doing CPR on him.
Then I got the call that he had collapsed and his brother came to the high school and picked me up,my dad stayed with the boys and my mom went in the ambulance and then I showed up at the hospital,he didn’t make it. That night when I came home,I didn’t know how to tell them, and I was being very honest, they knew that dad wasn’t good and I told them that he didn’t make it and he was in heaven.
By having life insurance,I have been able to give myself a break and to still work because that’s what I want to do. I am able to still allow my kids to do the things they want to do and not feel stressed about it. If we didn’t have life insurance,it wouldn’t have been able to happen.
I’m a teacher,I care about my students,I care about my friends and to be perfectly honest the $50.00 a month that we paid for Jamie’s policy was the best investment that we ever made.I have other friends that are widows that they didn’t buy the life insurance and I can see the struggles that they’re going through.
They say money doesn’t make you happy,it doesn’t,it can’t bring Jamie back but we can still make new memories with the policy and the money that we’ve gotten from it. The key is not about you have it,it’s about how much you can do with it.
What are your expenses,do you want to have kids, what do you want to be able to pay for those kids, can you afford life after you’ve experienced death, those are the question you have to answer. I’m so grateful that for whatever reason Jamie decided to purchase. I’m grateful all the way around. If I can help one person, then Jamie’s legacy lives on.
