I’d like to point out to you before we start, everybody understands what we do people for the army, that’s the great service we manage the soldiers for the army, but there’s a lot of other things we do too and I’d like to highlight just a couple of those first as veterans many of you.
I’m sure this audience or veterans, that’s one of our responsibilities just like taking care of our soldiers who are currently serving, we have a responsibility to take care of those veterans that have served in the past one of the things, we do seventy-five thousand veterans that are unaccounted for right now.
Since world war two great Vietnam, we manage that yearly basis, we talk to the families, we manage those cases as well, we saw in the news recently, we found more remains in Southwest Asia.
That’s one of those things we do families families are absolutely critical, if you don’t take care of families, you’re not taking care of soldiers and so everything we do on a daily basis is focused on ensuring that we’re able to provide the soldiers with everything they need, so they can concentrate on the mission.
We also do some other things, that are unique poster and say you make it for the military team with the new postal service, we actually run that out of California and the East Coast in New York, we also manage the physical disability agency that’s soldiers who have been injured and we determine whether or not they are still able to perform their duties.
As we go along, soldier may end up getting transition to another career in the military, if they’re unable to employment commission, they currently have Scott mentioned earlier, we will come from three locations primarily our folks in Alexandria, primarily the active duty military folks that manage active duty military here.
Those are the folks that generally manage the Army Reserve not National Guard, but the Army Reserve portion of the army thing manage those folks and then out of Indianapolis, we do a lot of our list of boards out of Indianapolis promotion board selection boards, we run there, so that’s what’s collapsing on the Fort Knox.
We will start the movement of the majority of folks in June of this year in just over 60 days and we will complete that movement by October, so that’s our window for arriving there for Knox and that’s your own lawn was talking about and we’re a huge part of that inhale here at Fort Knox tur time before the armor started school starts departing the second takeaway here.
We’re starting hiring and we’ve told you that for a long time. I know what the chart did Scott will show a little bit earlier not quite accurate, because it does change all the time, we have over 600 job vacancies that are on the street.
One thing I want you to understand is that you go to want to see pol online,they’re not going to see 600 job vacancies,many of those vacancies that are out there have multiple positions attached to it, some of them over on positions that are attached to that, so it may say a given job vacancy announcement.
There’s other vacancies against, they’ll just say multiple, but many of those have multiple vacancies against, then we opened over 500 of those vacancy announcements during March what that tells you is that we’re just getting into that will hire me.
We believe that most of the people will be brought on between the gym time frame and the October time for spreading it out a little bit over that period of time, based upon the arrival of the organization’s here at Fort Knox within human resources command, everything from GS fives all the way up to gs-15 or Alaric and again a good cross selection of those are already on the street.
We have about another three to four hundred job announcements, they’re going to be opened up here in about the next 45 to 60 days,after that period of time, we believe there’s going to be considerable journey or Fort Knox.
You can imagine that if we hire somebody from sessions command potentially, they got a bachelor position if we hire somebody internal as a promotion within human resources command.
We’ve got a back fill that position, those are accounted, all those types of things I counted in the numbers that we talk about so far, those are going to happen over the next few years, we believe will be continuing hire people all the way in the 2012.
