In this article, we will explain what you will see on your first digital life bill, how your first bill is different and how easy it is to pay your bill with Auto pay.

On the top left of every bill, you’ll see the bill at a glance section, this section outlines all the items that make up your current balance. Let’s walk through each item in detail, previous balance is the amount of your last bill, payment is the amount you paid toward your last bill adjustments includes any sort of credit or debit like an adjusted charge or a late payment fee from a previous bill.

Balance is the balance on the account since the last billing period, new charges includes all charges in the current billing period. You can find details about your new charges in the service summary section just below your bill at a glance. If you have Auto pay set up on your account, you will see the amount to be debited.

This is the current amount owed by the due date that will be deducted from your credit card or bank account, otherwise you will see amount due. This is the current amount owed by the due date every month you’ll see your monthly charges at the bottom right this section includes your security and automation packages, this amount is billed in advance so you will see the full charge on your first bill.

It’s important to note that your first bill will differ from subsequent bills because of prorated charges. These are charges for the partial month of service you receive between your installation date and the day your billing cycle begins.

If you chose to pay for your equipment using installment billing, you will also see these charges on your bill. Remember installment billing divides up the cost of your equipment over several. If you purchased any additional equipment during the installation of your service, you will see the full amount of this equipment on your first bill, it cannot be added to your installment billing plan.

After your services are installed, paying your bill is even easier using Auto pay which enables you to set up automatic monthly payments. Simply log into your account from any device and tap the menu button at the top of your screen, choose my account billing in payment then click enroll in Auto pay to enter your information. Your payment will be automatically deducted from your bank account or credit card on the bill due date.

If you prefer, you can also make a single payment right from your app by choosing make a payment. If you still have questions, visit solution center from your tablet or PC, tap the menu button at the top of your screen and choose Solutions Center, you can find billing and payment information under my account.
