Description: The article is about at&t wireless login. The passage talks about the upcoming possible changes to AT&T unlimited plans. It has been said that unlimited plus plan and unlimited choice are going to be replaced with unlimited enhanced.
There is a lot of information spreading around the internet about upcoming possible changes to AT&T unlimited plans that the unlimited plus plan and unlimited choice are going to be replaced with something that is being called unlimited enhanced.
AT&T has not yet officially released information on this but we do think that the information is credible enough to go ahead, there are several AT&T insiders and employees have confirmed the details with us and within public places. The changes of unlimited enhanced is the price for a single line, the price is going down $10 per month,it will be $80 per month for a smart phone line.
However additional lines are going to be more expensive than they currently are under unlimited plus. The enhancements that are coming with this plan is used to include under limited plus, you got 10 gigabytes of high-speed mobile hotspot use before you are slowed down for hotspot use,the new plans will include 15 gigabytes of high-speed mobile hotspot use which is very comparable to Verizon’s beyond unlimited plan.
The other changes coming is that video will be throttled to 1080p resolution even if you have stream saver turned on. We do not know if AT&T can do the same thing that Verizon did which was apply that new throttle to all video streaming or to the new unlimited enhanced plans.
There are also some other small changes to the plans and some perks and benefits that you get,but for our audience who need this as a home internet replacement, the biggest change is coming. There was a rumored back in October saying that mobile hotspot devices, connected car devices and home bases or data only devices will no longer be able to be activated on unlimited plans.
Presently under unlimited plus you can activate one of these data only devices and get truly unlimited data subject to network management after 22 gigabytes of usage in a month.
That means you were not restricted to that 10 gigabyte hot spot cap,a lot of people have activated these plans,it has been our top pick plan for the last year since it came out,you could get hundreds of gigabytes of usage and that makes a great home internet replacement.
Under this new unlimited enhanced, you will not be able to do this anymore. When this is coming out on March 1st,you have about 36 hours to get in on unlimited plus and still get this grandfathered in. Unlimited plus customers will be grandfathered in,we have confirmation of that from the resources that we’ve spoken with, hopefully AT&T will get that confirmation out soon as well.
If you have a limited plus,by March 1st you will be able to keep your current plan and if you have one of those mobile hotspot devices activated, you’ll still have unlimited data. If you already have unlimited plus and you stay with unlimited plus, apparently you will be able to still add a hotspot plan and have it grandfathered in up until May 6th.
If you’re already unlimited plus, you don’t need to act immediately, but if you’ve been considering getting an unlimited plus data hotspot plan, you need to do this immediately. The details of it are that you can get a standalone hotspot device,we recommend either the Netgear Nighthawk or unite Explorer, those are the two most current ones, but if they’re not in stock, you can get a hotspot device.
There’s $90 a month with Auto pay discount applied, that’s a standalone plan. If you have unlimited plus multi-line,it’s only $20 a month to add on a hotspot device.
If you have a single line already with unlimited plus which you’re already paying the $90 a month for your smart phone and you want to add on the hotspot device, that will bump you up to their multi line pricing which is currently 145 a month, that would give you the smart phone and the hot spot plan with the unlimited data.
That’s what we know,we have a full article online at the mobile internet Resource Center where we are tracking the details as soon as we have confirmed information from AT&T,we will update that article.
