Chase Visa Login Freedom Credit Card Review Waller’s Wallet

June 22, 2018

Description: This is an article about chase visa login. If you are new to the credit card game and looking for a great starter credit card or maybe you are looking for a solid credit card to earn cash back, take a look at the Chase Freedom Credit Card.

I’m Waller’s Wallet, I am going to teach you about credit cards points, miles, cash back and show you how to use it to travel for less, today we’re going to be taking a look at the Chase Freedom credit card, the Chase Freedom is a great credit card if you’re starting off in the points game, but it’s also a great long-term keeper.

It’s especially great for those individuals who love to earn alternate reward points, as I tell you before in each one of my credit card reviews, if your credit score is under 700, you should not be applying for reward credit cards, there are individuals who have been approved for the chase freedom when their score is under 700.

If you apply for this credit card with a score of 700, you have a higher likelihood of being denied and you’re doing so at your own risk, keep in mind that the chase freedom is subject to the chase 5 24 rule, as we always do we’re going to start with the sign up bonus.

The chase freedom has a $150 cash back bonus after you spend $500 in the first 90 days, typically once a year Chase will raise this bonus to a $200 cash back bonus after you spend $500 in the first 90 days, if you add an authorized user, Chase will give you an extra $25 bonus.

Let’s take a look at the earning rate of the chase freedom, the chase freedom is similar to discover it, it is a 5% rotating category credit card, you’ll earn 5% on the first $1500 spent in those particular categories each quarter, you’ll earn up to a maximum of 75 dollars or 7500 chase ultimate reward points if you are to max out those categories.

Unlike discover where discover releases a rotating category calendar at the beginning of every year, chase weights each quarter to release their quarterly categories, but over the last few years Chase is mirrored discover in their rotating categories.

If you are to look at discovers rotating categories, that should give you an idea of what Chase is going to do, outside of the five percent categories the Chase Freedom earns 1% cash back on all other transactions, so you only want to use to chase freedom when you’re earning 5% back.

Taking a look at foreign transaction fees, if you are to travel internationally, it’s best to leave your Chase freedom at home, because the chase freedom has a three percent foreign transaction fee, let’s take a look at the redemption options on our chase freedom.

You can redeem the rewards on your chase freedom for either gift cards or cash back, if you have one of the premium chase cards such as the Chase Sapphire Preferred, the Chase Sapphire Reserve or even the chaise Inc preferred, you can move the points from your freedom card over 20s premium cards and utilize those to one of their many transfer partners or even to the chase travel portal.

I’ll post a link showing you an overview of the chase ultimate rewards, what are some of the other benefits we have with our chase freedom credit card? Chase recently removed all purchase protection in price protection across all of their chase credit cards.

This used to be a great benefit for everyone, this is no longer the case, what we still have access to is the ability to use the chase shopping portal where you will learn extra reward points when you shop these certain retailers, who is the Chase Freedom credit card good for?

If you’re someone who prefers to earn cashback, earning 5% cash back on particular categories is solid, if you’re someone who has a premium chase card or if you’re someone who’s looking for a low minimum spend requiring to earn a decent bonus, moving these points from your chase freedom to a premium chase card gives that card more value.

Who’s someone who would not benefit from the chase freedom? You would not benefit from the chase freedom in their credit card rotation if you lived internationally or maybe you don’t like earning 5% cash back or earning ultimate reward points.

To sum it up the chase freedom is a great credit card for anybody, you only want to use this credit card when you’re earning 5% back, if you have a premium chase credit card, you will get even more value from this credit card, tell me what you think of the chase freedom credit card. Thank you.
