Description: The article is about the chase login. The author shows one application called chase mobile which can be used for iPhone and iPad. You can log on securely, contact chase and find ATM and branch locations nearby when you are using this application.
This is Jean with another great application review . I’m taking a look at the chase mobile application for iPhone and iPad. You may have seen the commercials or billboards for the chase mobile application. If you have then you already know that this is no ordinary banking application. It has a basic three option interface that lets you log on securely, contact chase and find ATM and branch locations nearby.
One obvious difference here between iPhone and iPad is that when iPhone users select a contact option, their phone immediately dials the number. Both devices take advantage of your current location to find nearby ATMs and branch locations which they then transfer to the built-in Maps application so you can easily find it.
Once you have a chase online account set up and you securely log in the chase mobile application gives you a few more options. You can pay your bills transfer money between accounts and check your account balances. If you have the iPhone version of this application you have one additional feature that is not yet available to the iPad mainly due to the fact that the iPad currently does not contain a camera.
But for iPhone users you get to take full advantage of the one thing that separates Chase from the rest of the pack, the ability to deposit checks into your accounts through your phone. We’re at the point in technology today that even ATM machines will soon be obsolete. The process is simple.
You can take a picture of the check front and back and then fill out some basic information and the chase mobile application will transfer both the account and routing numbers to their main database and instantly credit your account. Before I continue let me just say that the ability to do this is why I love technology. Let’s talk about the darker side of the tech.
The camera is sometimes tough to hold steady when you take your photos simply because you have to hold the camera and press the photo button and then wait while the camera finds its focus and finally snaps the shot. You may have to take the photo several times before the image reader can identify the numbers.
Once you submit your deposit it can take several minutes to process during which you can lose connection either with AT&T or with the chase main server. When this happlicationens your entire transaction is lost and you have to start again from scratch.
The chase application is an outstanding Bank application from a purely innovation standpoint and I have to say seeing the look on someone’s face when you deposit a cheque is worth the occasional hassle every time. This application has everything you’d want from a banking application and then it takes us one step further into the future. I give the chase mobile application a rock-solid four out of five. You can polish up the deposit feature communications a little bit and then we’ll talk about that extra point until then.
