Description: The passage mainly concentrates on the topic of citi costco login. The author of the article is going to show something she has and the things she is willing to buy by using different examples to us, we will know more details on their monthly grocery shopping lists.
Today I wanted to share with you my monthly grocery shopping, I went to Costco and Walmart, I also went to Trader Joe’s, I spend about $100 at Trader Joe’s, I’m not going to show you what I got in this video, because that video is going to be part of a Trader Joe’s series that I’m hoping to put up basically all of my favorites.
I’m hoping to do sweets and healthy treats and snacks and all that good stuff, so I’ll surprise you when I do that, my monthly budget is $400 a month, I spent about three quarters of the budget this month.
But then I also got my cash back rewards from Costco, so I brought my grocery bill down way low, so it was nice, because I’ve been wondering if Costco is worth it and I don’t know with that cash back.
I’m thinking that it might be, so let’s jump in, I’ll give you an idea of what I spent on each item, why I bought each item and I did a light haul at Costco comparatively to what I do in the past, so we did need a lot of household items, I got the paper towels, I only get those maybe every three or four months.
We don’t go crazy on them, so I don’t buy them every month, I get the bath tissue probably every two months, it lasts us about two months, maybe even more, sometimes we still have some in the house and I think these are around fifteen or sixteen dollars.
Don’t mind if there’s noise in the background, my husband is with my kids giving a bath, because we did a family shopping trip this time which we don’t normally do, I usually do it on my own, it was nice to have some help, I got these taro chips, these are some sweet potato chips, it has parsnip, taro, sweet potato and I don’t even know what that is.
These were around $6, I usually get the Doritos for the last several Costco hauls, they have not had them, but this time not only, they have them, but they were 379 on sale, so for a sale, I’m going to have to hide these.
So I’m going to put these in a recycled cookie jar container and then I’m going to hide the other bag in the pantry, I have my ground turkey, I don’t need any meat, that’s the only meat that I got, because I have an entire huge freezer stash from my Zaycon fresh order.
I have a ton of chicken breast, I’ll leave the link below, if you’re interested, they have a lot of good deals, it’s good to sign up and get on their list to see if you’re waiting and on the fence about fresh waiting for that $0.99 deal, you can sign up, get an account, then eventually, you’ll be notified if there’s a $0.99 deal.
I think it’s amazing, we still have some chicken thighs in there and I have a ton of vegetables as well, my freezer is so stashed with a bunch of stuff, so I know this looks like a lot of stuff that I got.
But in reality, it’s not, so I only stocked up on the turkey, this was about 13 almost $14 13 and change and I love this ground turkey, one pack of this at Trader Joe’s, when I was there last night, it was 579, so for about $14 getting four of these is a steal.
I always get the spinach, I always check the expiration date also to make this last long, which usually lasts about two weeks. I will put a piece of paper towel or a rag and store it upside down in the fridge and it will last a lot longer.
This is only 399. I never ever tried these, but my kids are with me and the hubby was with me and we had a little extra cash to spend because of the world rewards back, but I wanted to try these, if we don’t eat all these, I’m going to be putting them there in my little cake, thing from Ikea.
So I’ll be displaying those. I got that from Ikea, you’ll see it in my Kia Hall, but I’ll freeze them, so you can make sandwiches, you can make different kinds of dishes, you could make sandwiches for breakfast, you can freeze them and they’ll come out at Costco.
I wanted to hit up target for that crazy egg deal, they were having 18 eggs for 99 cents, couldn’t make it, they were sold out, we were going to go again today, but we said you don’t, let’s go to Costco, I was going to get the five dozen, but that was ten dollars, so I got two dozen which was 379.
So I got two dozen which is four dozen, that will last about a week and a half, sometimes up to two weeks, it all depends on how much eggs, we’re eating typically, we have eggs every morning, we have the same breakfast every morning, we’re boring people. I saw this a long time ago and I want to recreate it.
I never did it, so I’m hoping that by buying this, I will be able to recreate it, they were sampling it a few months ago, it is so delicious, but I can make it, it has tomato sauce and it has coconut milk and all that good stuff.
So I’m hoping that I can recreate it, if I can recreate, I’ll let you know, stay tuned, if you’re not following on Instagram, I’ll probably share it there where I share a lot of more daily Instant stuff, thus Instagram, but I’ll let you know this stuff looks so good, I got my usual Activia, this was on sale for six dollars and change usually is about $10.
So it’s happy about that got my diced tomatoes, I think these are $5.99, got my avocado oil which is 979, it used to be $7 and it went up in price sad day, I’ve got the Heinz ketchup, I love this ketchup, it lasts us a month, we eat that much ketchup, so I buy one when they’re on sale off stock.
I’m going to get two, we were running low, we weren’t completely out of detergent and dish soap, this lasted us, we still have a lot of this, I bought this probably four months ago, so we’re talking four or five months, it’s lasting, this was on sale for $10 and changed this month.
So I was going to get the red bottle one, but it was a little bit more, let me try this, because I haven’t been disappointed with the Kirkland brand and this was about $7.99, so if you average that over the four or five months that it lasts our family this lasts about four to five months, this lasts about two months.
So I think that’s a good deal, I got the silk almond milk the 30 calorie almond milk, this lasts us about a month, sometimes, we’ll run out at the end of the month, we’ll have to go out and get one from Trader Joe’s.
I will run out and get one quickly, but this is a good deal, because it’s six dollars and change for this, we also got the Kirkland brand orange juice for $7.99. I think it’s a good deal, I got the Colby jack cheese for $4.99, this is a good deal, we shred it up, we have it on hand for eggs and breakfast, burritos, but freeze your cheese.
After you shred it, it’s a good thing to shred your cheese that way, it doesn’t go mouldy because cheese, girl’s mouldy isn’t that funny, I got the Hebrew national Frank’s, I didn’t get the Costco Franks, because we still have some, I guess we were getting tired of them, so instead of them going bad, I froze half of the package, so I have in my freezer, I have the chicken breast that we always get these, we get for lunches, everyone in the family loves it with a little mayo or a little ranch dressing and some chopped celery and onions good.
So that’s it for Costco, we spent a total of 180 150, but I had 125 dollar and 50 cent reward back from using my credit card and all of my different purchases and we buy gas and groceries on our Costco credit card, so I make sure that we paid off the end of every month and with that, we got back 100 $25.50.
So the total for Costco was only 56 bucks which is good for all of this stuff, so I want to remind you that I went to Trader Joe’s and I spend about $100 at Trader Joe’s and I’ll be showing you all that good stuff in a series that I want to do.
But I did get all this stuff from Walmart and I did use the grocery pickup option and I’ll be leaving a link below, so you can get a $10 off coupon for the grocery pickup, check the description box for that I spent a total of 5954.
I’ll show you what I got. I got two boxes of rigatoni, so iodized salt, I got the green onion, they never have the regular, so I get the organic and this was a dollar 32, I got three packs of white egg noodles.
I like to make Swedish meatballs with this, these are good to have even with it, you can put tuna and some cream of mushroom soup with some green peas here, I don’t think I’ve ever tried tuna casserole, but that’s good, I got some Pringles for my kids and their snack.
I got some tomato paste, I got three packages of red light Kimmy beans, I got a chili seasoning, I got three packs of the jiffy corn mix, I got the Quaker Oats, this is what we make, we put condensed milk vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg and we stir it around, my husband likes to make that for breakfast, we also got these, I think $0.99.
These were on clearance, because they’re expiring today, I think they’re already expired, I got the farm line sausage, because we’re going to be making a breakfast casserole for Easter, I also got three packages of this whole-grain Uncle Ben’s brown rice, this is the rice that we love.
I got three packages of the pure and gentle fragrance free butt wipes and I call them butt wipes, I said that on Instagram and you were laughing at it, you could use them for face wipes or whatever.
But we do use it in the restroom, I got great value Clorox wipes, I got this snuggle fabric softener, it’s only 297, we don’t use it very often, but I want to have someone’s hand, I got some reach dental floss, I got my favorite swab daily clarifying conditioner, I got this Ivory soap, we use this as a family and last for a little bit over a month.
We also use a family size Pantene shampoo, so this is basically what we have in our shower and a lot of it lasts for longer than a month, this lasts me a couple of months, because one of my sons use it and then this lasts us and the shampoo lasts us a little over a month as well.
Last but not least, I got a few things for food storage. I don’t get these all the time, I get these maybe three to four months, because they don’t use them all the time, but these are my staples aluminum, foil, wax paper and cling wrap love these got to have these on hand at all times.
When I’m running, I like to go out and get some more at Walmart, we spent a total of 5954 with the Trader Joe’s, I’m not showing you, but I’ll be doing a series on we spent a total of two hundred and thirteen dollars and 52 cents, because we had that $125 money back from Costco.
So I think that’s a huge win, I’m still going to probably looking into doing a video on whether or not Costco is worth it, so stay tuned for that, let me know if you got any good deals this month, let me know if you’re going to Costco and getting any of these sale items, let me know what you like at Costco or Walmart and let me know if monthly meal planning is working for you or how you meal plan to save money, thank you so much for your time, if you like this, give it a thumbs up, subscribe, if you’re new and I’ll see you next time.
