Welcome to the short demonstration of Citizens Bank Minnesota’s bank to bank transfers feature. Bank to bank transfers can be used to move money from or to a bank account that exists outside of Citizens Bank Minnesota, you also need to request this feature, you need to contact the bank and we will go ahead and turn it on.
Once we’ve done that, you can sign into your online banking account as you normally do,you’ll see that the bank-to-bank transfer feature is available in there. The first time you go in,it’s going to ask you to enroll for the service,it lines a few details, there is an agreement,I’ll point out a couple things in the agreement.
There is a 3 p.m. cutoff every day,if you want to cancel transfers, you have to do that by 2:00 p.m. the day prior to the transfer happening. Bank-to-bank transfers occur overnight,if you initiate one today,it’s going to happen tomorrow. If you schedule one for the future,it will settle on that date.
Each transfer has a $1 fee, there is a $2,500 in and $2,500 out daily limit, once you agree to that,I will walk you straight through setting up an account. What you need to do is to get a check blank out from the account that you own at the other end and go ahead and fill out the information, you need to type in the routing number and account number and the type of account, you need to put some details in.
We’re now going to send 2 small deposits, this is very similar to PayPal,two small several cent transactions are sending to this account, they will appear tomorrow. In order to complete the enrollment of this account, you have to go ahead and discover what those transfer amounts are.
Once you have filled that in,you will be able to complete new transfers,if you have transferred money by using our internal transfer mechanism,it’s very similar, you can pick the frequency that you want them to occur, you can choose start dates and end dates, you can put a memo in there in a dollar amount, those transfers will go ahead and settle for you.
If you want to see what transfers are scheduled or if you want to cancel something, you can go to the pending transfer screen,I have nothing scheduled at this time. If you want to see a history of the transfers that have occurred in this account, you can go ahead and see that. ,if you have any questions, please feel free to context.
