Description: The article is about comcast business login. The VP of Channel Sales for Comcast Craig Schlagbaum tells the audience why they should sell Comcast’s high-speed infrastructure including fiber and coax over other alternatives.
How many people in this room have sold something for Comcast? I get an idea, it is outstanding. I want to say thank you to all of you because without that support, we wouldn’t have been able to receive the award we got in last night. It’s incredible, I’ve been doing the channel for a long time now.
We only started this a couple of years ago, we went from zero revenue to this level. That’s a testament to the amount of energy and effort you put into it. We’re delighted to have that recognition. We sell a full coax footprint solution for the SMB customer.
We have enterprise products. Hosted PBX is right around the corner, it’s starting next week, we’ll have a new offering, it’s exciting, we’ll talk more about that later. How many of you have sold our hospitality product to hotels motels in that space?
That’s a very exciting product. Those didn’t even exist that we started this channel, selling business class internet was the first move. We’ve gone a long way, you’ll see a lot more programs coming. The footprint is about 18 of the top 20 NFL cities, we’re in 39 states.
Without getting into all the weeds of this, this is where we are, you’ll find charter. If you don’t have a relationship with them outside of these marks I’d suggest, if they sell the same services as we do, you can see our footprint. It’s a full footprint across the country, we have 600, 000 miles of coax, we have 140, 000 miles of fiber, we have made tremendous footprint and a tremendous opportunity for the channel.
The ultimate test is a truly redundant solution, your customers are the single sourced, they’re using traditional telephony, our network doesn’t touch the public telephony system at all, you never go through a CEO, that’s the value of this. Whether it’s us or the other cable companies, you’re giving the customer tree redundancy, they can have solutions from different companies but it’s highly valuable because of that.
We don’t touch the telco grid, it’s a fully-fit fiber mesh network. They can get cable TV, it is a mainstream of what we do, there are a lot of new services. We’re going to tie that fiber network not in one city, we are going to tie every one of those cities together.
You’ll be able to sell it to a customer who is lived in San Francisco or has offices in Chicago or in New Jersey and Philadelphia, that can be a huge win. That’s going to allow you to sell tremendous amount of new customers. We’re going to launch that product to this channel first because we think that you’ll have more relationships than our own direct team will have.
We’ll talk more about that later. I’m afraid that there’s a trap door behind me and I’ll jump into a water, that might be fun next year. We can have a little water plunge thing, if you don’t finish in four minutes, you will go in the water. I think you should do that next year, we will have a blast with it. I want to conclude by thanking all of you for what you’ve done for us and supporting our team.
