I’m going to show you how to print your free transunion credit report in your free equifax credit report from creditkarma.com. First thing you need to understand is that this is only available on a laptop computer or a desktop computer. This is not a function that is available on a smartphone. If you’re looking for a solution to print your credit reports from Credit Karma on a smartphone, this article will not answer that question for you. If you’re still interested in printing out your credit reports on credit karma from your desktop or laptop then let’s get started with that.
The first thing you would do is you would sign up for Credit Karma. If you’ve already signed up then you’ll simply log in. Once you’re logged in you’ll see a menu bar at the top. Here we’re not much interested in that. You can see your information here and then you’ll have a menu on the left hand side.
The one menu option that we’re interested in is the credit reports option. All you’ll do is you’ll click on credit reports here on the left it will bring you to the credit reports page. On this page you’ll see a speedometer for transunion and a speedometer for Equifax indicating, your current credit score as reported to Credit Karma. Below those you’ll see a link one that says go to transunion credit report and one that says go to equifax credit report. You’re only able to print one at the time they do not allow a function to print cumulative reports.
So we’ll go to transunion credit report link here so we’ll click on that. It will bring you to this page. On this one you can view all of the information on your credit report segmented out by the different sections on there or you can print out the entire one which is what we intended to do. You’ll see on the right hand corner top right-hand corner here is a printing icon and the words print this report.
You’ll click on that link it’ll load a new page and you’ll be able to print your credit report for TransUnion. Then you’ll simply repeat the same thing for Equifax. Now I’m using a MacBook and so when I print something there’s automatically an option for me to download or export the printable page to a PDF as opposed to printing to a printer.
So if you prefer to export your printed credit report to a PDF so that you can email it or save it on your computer or share it with somebody else,if you’re not using a macbook you’ll want to get cute PDF. Cute PDF.com has a free PDF exporter. It basically converts whatever you’re printing into a PDF and downloads as opposed to printing it. So you would simply click here on this free download.
Once you download and install it then when you print something for example when I print here,it would become a drop-down option here as a printer option and you would select that as the printer. On the macbook I can automatically send it to a PDF. I wouldn’t need something like this.
But if you’re on a PC something windows-based then you would probably need a service like this. There are probably hundreds of these out. That’s the one that I’m familiar with. It has served me well on previous computers that I’ve used so.
Another quick rundown after you log in,you can click on credit reports on the left-hand side, you can choose which credit report you want to print. If you want to print TransUnion, you can click on that one. Once you come to the screen here then you click on print this report and then you either select to export it as a PDF or print it depending on the functionality of your computer.
