Description: The topic for this article is mainly focusing on Credit Karma, the author introduces us something about FICO score and a credit simulator where we can add different things on credit report.
I want to do a quick review on Credit Karma, they’ve got a website that they’ve set up giving away free credit scores in the profit, I went through the process, I checked it out for a fairly simple to sign up.
It gave me back a trans risk score which has little or no relevance to the FICO score, but it happens to have the same range 300 to 850, so it was not a big fan of that and then it has advantage and an auto insurance score.
You know what your actual FICO score is, it’s going to vary a little bit, but if you know what the ranges are, for the other scores, it might be a great way for you to to check it out now.
I did like the portion here which is called the credit simulator, I liked this credit simulator where you could add different things on your credit report and then find out what the score would be now.
It’s not going to be the same results that you get with FICO, but I like the ability to play around with this, the score is a great way to learn and it’s based on your credit score.
The credit bureau is like the one where I worked. I have had this tool for a long time for the loan officers, they’ve been able to do this, go in and make corrections, the result was much closer to FICA, but you’re trying to learn and test things out.
I would definitely advise you to do it and play with the credit score simulator, so you can get an idea or better learn about ways to improve.
