We’re introducing how to electronic sign your annual accounts and tax returns and many other documents by using DocuSign. We’ve prepared the short clip to show you how to use DocuSign,that’s simple to use,it is free and you don’t have to sign up or remember any passwords.
For the purpose of this exercise,we’ve set up a fictitious company called DocuSign demo and client to sign the documents called demo signature,you’ll receive an email like this one. You can open it,you’ll be asked to review the document,you can click review document,you’ll then be asked to agree to the terms and conditions of by using electronic records and signatures,you can check this box and continue.
The document will open,you will notice the box at the bottom of the screen which is asking to record your location,we recommend you click options for the site then allow always,you can click the yellow start tab,we’ve preset the places that you’re required to sign the document,you’ll now be taken to the first of these,you can click the sign icon,you are now asked to create your signature,you can check the name and initials to make sure those are the ones that you want to use to sign the document.
If you’re happy with this,you can simply click adopt N sign,if not,you can type in the full name and initials that you’d like to use. If you want to change the style of your signature,you can select change style,you can select the signature style that you’d like to use and then click adopt and sign. We recommend that you don’t use the draw option,you can click the sign tab and in each place you’re required to sign the document.
Your signature will automatically appear when you do this. We’re date to required,you’ll see that these have been automatically entered,the document will scroll to tabs and any other places such as your signature or your initials.
You should enter this information. When you reach the end,you can click the yellow finish tab,if the document has to be signed by any other parties for example your spouse or partner,it will automatically be sent to them for their signature. If not,it will automatically come back to us. This login box will then appear giving you the option to sign into DocuSign.
If you’re not interested,you can simply click close. You can now review and close your document. The screen will then appear telling you that you’ve successfully signed your document,you can close the screen down.
Here’s another screen that may appear,you can click close for this one. Following completion of the signing,then you’ll receive the following email to confirm the document,it will also contain a copy of the signed document for your records.
