Description: The article below centers on the topic about adp portal employee login. There should be a tutorial to walk you through the process of the adp portal employee login, it will focus on logging in, clocking in and out using the Pecos, setting preferences and approving a time card. You can also learn how to approve the time card.
As most of you know, we are now switching over to ATP’s time card, I have created a tutorial today to walk you through the process, this tutorial will focus on logging in, clocking in and out using the Pecos, setting preferences and approving a time card, so let us begin.
We’ll start by going to the website EP comm, you wouldn’t want to go to ADP comm and hit enter, because that will take you to ATP’s primary page which has nothing to do with the timecard.
So you’ll want to be sure to enter in workforce now ATP comm, add it to your favourites and you’ll be using that to gain access to your time card from here on out, this tutorial is not going to teach you how to register.
It’s a fairly simple process, all you have to do is to click register here and it’ll walk you through, once you’ve completed your registration, you’ll be able to use your user ID and password to log in, click login and it will take you to our new digits treem certified home page.
If your page for some reason does not look like this, all you have to do is to hit this home tab, we’re going to focus on the right-hand side of the page that says my time, we’re going to utilize these to clock in and clock out mechanisms.
As you can see, I’ve clocked in and clocked out quite a few times today, because I’ve been testing this, however, primarily you’re going to be clocking in and clocking out, when you get into the office, you’re going to clock out, when you go to lunch clock back in after lunch and you will clock out for the day.
If it is the time that you clocked in or clocked out, it may be not the proper time, then you can always edit that by entering in my time card, we’ll do that now first, you want to make sure that you’re on the correct pay period, I looked at my time card and I didn’t see anything on my time card.
What I’ve been clock didn’t clocking out, it’s because I wasn’t on the current pay period, I was on the next pay period, so you want to make sure that you’re at the right pay period.
I promise you everything will appear as you have entered it, so for today I’ve already entered in my time, but I want to show you exactly how to do it, because there is a neat feature that I learned that might save you a couple of seconds.
So as opposed to putting an 8 : 0 0, all you have to do with this cool new ADP system is to put 8 a and then hit tab see and it automates the 8 a.m, if you want to use the PM feature, all you have to do is to put in whatever p.m. time that you want, are we doing 12:30 1 2 3 0 P tab and that will automate the PM for me.
As you can see, there are certain pay codes, you don’t need to focus on these for a typical day, however, today I will be leaving early to go to a doctor’s appointment, so I’m going to enter that time in a sick, I got back from my lunch at 1:00 p.m, hit that 1p tab and I’ll be leaving at 2:30 that’s 2 3 0 P tab.
I’ll be using the pay code SiC, but there are various pay codes, I want to show them to you bereavement double-time holiday jury duty got 4 bydd sick and vacation, so I’ll go ahead and click that sick tab.
As you can see over here, it tells me the amount of hours that I worked, it was four and a half and then after lunch, I’m going to be working one and a half hours for a total of six hours and I have that sick pay code which will allow HR to understand why I didn’t work my full eight hours.
If you are planning on taking a vacation, be sure to hit the save a saving operation successful suite, if you’re planning on taking a vacation, save for the next paper here and go ahead and go to the next pay period, you’ll be able to enter in that information.
I’ve already entered in some vacation again, because I was playing around with this, but I want to show you exactly how to enter in that information, so for vacations, it’s a little bit different, instead of entering in your time, you’re going to first search for the pay code vacay vacation and then go ahead and insert the amount of hours that you’ll be missing.
So if it’s a full day, put your 8 hours, if it’s half day, put 4 hours, whatever it may be, but I want to show you it’s going to automatically populate the time that you’ve missed their system and it’ll have some features that will do it for you.
But as you can see, it doesn’t utilize both lines either way, it’s going to let you know that you used four hours like you put in here and then you’ll be able to save it now, let’s go back to the current pay period so that I can show you how to set your preferences mm-hmm.
As you can see, it gives you every single day of the week Sunday through Saturday, I only work Monday through Friday in a typical week, so I don’t need to have the Saturday and Sunday feature.
At the end of the pay period when I enter in my information, these blanks might stress me out, I don’t know I get stressed out easily, so if there’s any way to cut down on my level of stress, I like to do that, so I’ll go over here and go to my preferences.
So as you can see, it’s checked that I want to show by unscheduled days, so I don’t want that feature, so I’ll go ahead and uncheck that box automatically, it’s going to show me what my time card would look like for my scheduled days.
If you work on Saturday and Sunday, you might want to keep those box, keep that box checked, but it’s up to you, that’s why it’s called preferences, but to cut back on confusion, you can definitely do that now.
There are also the rows each day, it automatically has two days so that you can take your lunch, but if you’re in and out of the office from several times a day, seven times a day, you might want to have seven rows available to be able to clock in and clock out that many times.
I want to show you what that would look like, so you have seven different rows for each day and obviously each day would be populated dependent on time to clock in and clock out, I’ll go back and set it to my usual two so that things are the way that I want them to look.
Last but not least, I’ll show you how to approve the time card, it’s fairly simple, all you have to do is to hit approve time card like this, it’s going to ask you whether you want to approve it, I do cool and the time cards approved.
I know that it seems simple, but you don’t want to be that girl who forgets to approve their time card, because ADP has the system so intertwined that if one person forgets to approve their time card, it brings everything to a screeching halt.
We don’t want that, so make sure that you approve your time card, once it’s filled out, hit that approve time card, click and everything will be done on your end, your supervisor will also be able to approve time cards in the exact same way hitting this button and everything will move smoothly now.
If you have any additional questions, reach out to HR per usual, I think this video should cover everything that you need for the fundamentals, but they’re the ones that you want to ask all those nuanced questions, hopefully, this was easy enough to understand and have a great day.
