This is an instructional material to demonstrate Muniz employee self-service Mutis. Employee self-service is an extension of the district’s financial software called munis, this program allows all district employees to access some of your basic employment information through web-based application.
Through this application, you will be able to view personal information such as address, phone numbers and emergency contacts certification and expiration dates time off and history paycheck details past w-2s current w-4 withholdings and a paycheck simulator.
First, let’s begin with the initial login process, first-time users will need to access the Beaufort County School District website and go to the employees link listed at the top of the homepage in the bottom left-hand corner.
The employees page is a section called Lakes start by opening the link titled munis employee self-service, click on login in the upper right hand corner of the munis employee self-service homepage, your initial login will be your employee ID number and password will be the last four digits of your social security number.
First-time users will be prompted to change their password, once you have logged in, you will see the home screen, click on employee self-service which will allow you to open the dashboard.
On the left side of the screen, there are 5 options, employee self-service certifications pay tax information, personal information and time off on the employee self-service screen, it will display your personal information, such as address and contact information, organizational announcements, a time off summary and pay details.
This certification screen will list all certifications held by the employee that have been inserted to immunise through Human Resources, it shows a type of certification held along with the effective date and expiration dates.
If you believe any of the information, recorded is incorrect or missing, please contact the Beaufort County School District’s human resource department, the pay tax information displays your yeutter date information w2 1099 w-4 and also has a paycheck simulator.
The Paycheck information is the first screen which will display your pay for the current calendar year, remember that your pan will accumulate based on the calendar year, not the school year.
On each paycheck, you are able to view the details associated with the neck pain prior year, w-2 forms can be also viewed by clicking on the drop down box, if you have a 1099 that has been reported for some reason through the district, it will show up here.
In this section, w-4s shows the current federal and state withholdings associated with your paycheck, finally, the Paycheck simulator allows you to calculate how net pay will be effected by changing withholding exceptions and payroll deductions changes in the simulator do not affect your pay.
If you decide, that withholding change need to be made, please fill out an IRS w-4 form is submitted to the payroll department, next is the personal information area, this section displays address and email information, telephone numbers, dependents and emergency contacts, please review over this information to make sure it is all correct.
Address changes should be submitted to the human resources department on a universal change of address, former telephone numbers and emergency contacts can be changed online by selecting the change link from the right.
The employee profile will show general information associated with your personal information, please review the information to make sure it is correct.
Finally, the time off section shows an overview of different leave types, some leave types may show a negative balance, because the system does not earn time for certain items, such as legal bereavement or professional leave by selecting the summary link on the right.
A detail of time used for leave will show for the current year, past years can be viewed by selecting the drop down box, a calendar view of days taken can also be accessed by clicking on calendar view on the right corner of the screen, this concludes our introduction to the municipal self-service program.
