Description: This passage is mainly about evolve elsevier login. In this passage, the writer tells us how to register for the book resources and show us a little bit about what we can find in them if we have a redeem access code.
This is Professor Lunsford, I’m going to show you how to register for your book resources and show you a little bit about what you can find in them, when your have set up your Evolve account, you’ll see this page, this is your home page, it’s the catalog page in the front of your books, there is a redeem access code and you can type in that access code.
If you don’t have an access code, you can search for the book by author or title, but depending on the edition of the book, they may not grant your resources without paying for them, so if you’ve bought a new book or even a used book, you should have access code there, so since I’ve already got mine registered, what I’m going to do is to pull up your pharmacology book, because this is the first book that you’re going to be using.
So this is what your resources are going to look at, now you’re not going to have instructor resources, obviously you’re going to have student resources, if you click on student resources, there is a wealth of information here under chapter 1, let’s go in chapter 1, you have clinical references here, you have a color pill Atlas, you have key points.
Key points are great for all the chapters throughout your pharmacology bug and your med surg, but when you get it, key points are the meat and potatoes, in that chapter I’m going to open up one, so you can take a look at it here, so this is what the key points look like, this is pharmacology and key points.
Let’s talk about a farm acute acacia and farm kinetic phases, when you start studying for exams, this is a great handy sheet to have, because it does cut everything down for you, you also have your resources for each chapter, you have Review Questions so you can go through and take to practice test questions.
These are obviously not the same questions that are going to be on your eunuch unit exams, but it helps you learn how the questions are worded and review this content, so at anytime you can get any practice questions, that’s always a great thing to have, there are also unfolding case studies, this is something that we’ll be doing in class or you may have an assignment to do.
But it’s thing that gives you an information about a patient and it’s going to ask you questions or things to do, but if we go back over here on the navigation side, you can see that every chapter in the book is set up in that way.
So let’s go to antivirals, you have pictures, you have resources, a medication safety checklist, key points, review questions and a case study, so this is a great resource to have and I strongly recommend you use it on every chapter that you’re assigned in any of your Evolve books, thank you.
