Description: The following passage mainly focuses on fios login, in which the author is going to talk about his personal story of how he get screwed by the Verizon FiOS. It is impossible to change the Verizon FiOS package or cancel it for free. It will charge you 200 more dollars to cancel it.
We are going to talk about Verizon FiOS, it happened last year, I was upstairs watching TV, my wife and my child were downstairs watching, I have a newborn, my wife was probably taking care of my newborn, apparently my five-year-old daughter got a hold of the remote.
Now I’m a new FiOS customer, I got FiOS five months ago, that’s an estimate, I’m relatively new to FiOS, she gets a remote, she can upgrade the package plan with the remote, it’s not verified, I didn’t see it, but apparently according to Verizon FiOS she ordered the ultimate plan which was two hundred and thirty dollars a month for TV and Internet.
It’s the same exact day I called them to have them return my package, but apparently now that she changed the package with the remote, I had to pay one hundred and ninety three dollars a month because what they were saying was that when my daughter changed the package that was not verified, I lost all my discounts from a previous bundle that I got in the beginning.
So I was paying a hundred and ninety dollars a month, I lost my discount bundle because she changed that, now I have to pay a hundred and ninety six dollars a month, they refused to change it back, I called it up and said that I wanted to return my bill to what it was.
They said that they had to contact their discount center, I got a call back Monday morning saying that they’re not going to return my discounts, I called them back, I was irate telling them that this was ridiculous, I’ve been a Verizon customer for over 11 or 12 years on the mobile service, I recently got the internet and TV.
But apparently now they can’t return my package to what it was, they want 196 dollars a month, they’re refusing to return my bill to the previous dollars a month, this is ridiculous, it seems to be criminal, it’s not so much the money, it’s the principle.
If you want to cancel their service, they want 200 more dollars, when I signed up, it was for a two-year contract, not only will they raise my bill, then they want two hundred dollars for me to cancel, I’m definitely going to cancel their TV.
I hope that somebody for Verizon sees this, I’ve had their phone service, I’m thinking about switching the phone service too, I’ve had it for 11 or 12 years, I wouldn’t like to do that, so far I’ve got good service from the Verizon on the mobile side.
I don’t know if they’re handling different things on the TV side, I have no idea, but I’m putting this article here to try to explain to people how you could get screwed, think twice about getting FiOS, this is ridiculous, try to explore other options, I’ve had good things with them in the past.
I’m probably going to go back to Xfinity or Comcast, this is a personal story of how I got screwed, thanks.
