This is the main webpage for workforce, there are different ones so make sure you go to the right one for your company.
I’m going to go ahead and log in here and we’ll let it load up, go to the main page, put an application, it is mobile friendly, so there’s another part that can be accessed on your phone, you can see the totals, pay information on your phone as well as on the web.
We’ll start out quickly and show you how to report an absence to your supervisors so that they know you’re accounting for some unplanned time off. Simply go to the page, choose the day and then enter your notes so they know what the reason is.
We are going to cancel out, that will take us back to the tab which we need to be in, that’ll pull me over to the timecard and if I scroll down, you’ll see that we have 26 pay periods, which falls on a Friday every two week.
I’m actually going to enter some time so that you can see how it’s done, open up these windows by clicking on them, you don’t have to be exact, the program will correct your time for you, I will enter my full day here, 10 hours a day from Sunday to Wednesday, so I’ll continue to do that a few more times for the purpose of demonstration and you can see how it’s done and then we’ll show you some other details.
I’ll show you how to enter vacation, the way we do is to enter an amount which indicates to the processor, and pay code is how we differentiate our time, so if I click on pay code, all the different types of pay will come up, I have to click on more here to get vacation to come up. Let’s go with vacation, it populates and that tells the person I’m taking vacation and we have an entry down here, you’ll see that highlighted later in the program so that totals up my first week.
If we scroll down, we’ll see week 2 and I’m going to keep going and enter a fully Convocation here so that you can see how that’s done, we will scroll down vacation again, I have 40 hours, I’m going to enter those hours, then you click the Save button to save it and they will be entered in there permanently, then your indications are shown here with the orange bars.
I’m going to show you a couple of tabs here, if you want to add a note to say it’s an unexcused time off or some special circumstances, add a note and it will be seen by the processor, you can print your timecard reprocess, it will allow you to make corrections and if I click out of that, we can go down to the different cells, click on that and you can add rows.
If you’re going to work part of the day and take some time off during the day, you’re going to want to add a different row so that you can label that row as vacation, sick or whatever type of time it is and then regular time, so you would go ahead, add a blank row, then label it with the proper paid code and it will be processed.
I’m going to click on the calendar up here, which let let the processor managers know that you are taking time off, and they can count for that time and schedule other employees to take over your duties.
