Visa rewards Credit Card is a card that you might stereotype as similar to a retail store card without any benefits. Why would you pick it up, if you don’t shop in that particular spot?
In fact, the way you generate points and rewards, you can apply that outside of Amazon as well, which is pretty appealing. The way it functions is 3% back onamazon.com purchases, while 2% at gas stations, restaurants and at drugstores, such as CVS pharmacy, and 1% on everything else.
You can redeem that it comes to one penny per point but you can redeem it any amount. You can use it as amazon.com credit, or get cash back towards travel or gift cards. The entry offer was one of the main reasons I applied a $50 Amazon giftcard.
Even if you don’t shop in Amazon, that is a motivating factor from a financial perspective. No annual fee would be involved, which is one of the main reasons I deem a card to be more desirable. In this case, you don’t have to worry about an annual fee. In terms of finances purchase APR and balance transfer APR, the same fourteen point forty nine to twenty two point forty nine percent balance transfer fee is five dollars or five percent cash advance APR 25 2014 10 dollars or five percent.
The late fee can be up to 37 dollars, and the transaction fee is three percent, which is slightly higher than normal 2.7. But I wouldn’t use this card abroad, as you’re not going to get as many benefits from it. It’s primarily a domestic use card. Therefore, the biggest downside for me is that the foreign transaction fee is higher than it needs to be.
Because if a visa card doesn’t have one, it’s nice to have Visa broad because it’s the most accepted credit card, but what can you really do about it? The main thing is you have to look at the benefit, so the benefits are primarily going to come down to. If you shop at amazon.com frequently, in terms of how you manage the card, this is something that can be a blessing or curse, which is done through Chase Bank.
For instance, I have chase freedom. If I log into my account, both of them come up and I don’t have to login separately for Amazon, which is kind of nice to manage the accounts chases, and the layout is a somewhat earnest. It has got better than when I first got a card with them, but there is still some glitch aspects. Sometimes we find stuff on the website is more problematic than it needs to be.
About their customer service, I think it is solid, as you’ll usually get a response quickly and they will resolve things. But you’re not going to lose majorly, unless your account gets hacked.
In terms of the conclusion on this card, if you shop in Amazon a lot, it’s definitely going to be beneficial for you. But even if you’re trying to get your girlfriend that coach bags, she won’t dump you. Then you complete the application, and suddenly got much cheaper $50 off. It is one of the primary reasons you would get this card.
If you don’t like Amazon much, you get a $50 gift card more easily that you can buy something on amazon.com, unless you’re a hermit living in a cave. Otherwise, if you do shop a lot in Amazon, there’s much to be loved because you’re going to be generating points. You can use that towards credit or you can redeem it in other ways. That is why I do recommend this card.
