New Chase IHG Premier Card Details Wells Fargo.com Cardholders

July 25, 2018

Description: The following passage mainly concentrates on the point of wellsfargo cardholders, from the materials given below, we can see the benefits which we can acquire if we choose to use it and some other details that should be related to the improvements about new Chase IHG Premier Card.

It’s Sebastian from a CB and today we’re going to do an update video on the chase ihe card, so we did talk about it yesterday and the main reason we’re talking about this is that there’s a lot of information coming out and it seems relevant ironically, I would rather talk about my vacation that I took in Arizona.

But this seems more appropriate, given the timing, the first piece of information is that King 99 who is one of our subscribers found a very interesting page on chases site, this page shows four different IHG cards and again there are cards that don’t exist, so we don’t know there are cards that they’re going to launch or whether it’s filler data or not, the card is on the left, so the classic card is a real card and we have talked about it in our secret downgrade pact video.

We have the legacy card which is going to be the card that currently exists in the card that we talked about yesterday and it seems that they’re adding two new cards, maybe it’s going to be business cards or maybe they added it in.

But we don’t know, so there’s a lot of information at play, but it seems that they are adding new cards and I have a feeling, that’s our current card which is going to end up, being the legacy card for the most part, I wouldn’t recommend reading into the bullets too much, because it looks like form data, so it seems that they ran, put some information and they’re probably going to finish it off.

So the main reason for that too is that if you look at the two business cards, they have the same exact name and that’s not common, it doesn’t make sense to have two different cards that have exactly the same name, so I think they copy pasted it and they’re probably finishing up the site.

The second piece of information comes from straight to the points who has a screenshot showing the new card, there is a lot of information here and we don’t know whether any of this is going to be the final card, it could be a template for skimming through this, you’re going to get 80,000 points after $2,000 a minimum spend in the first three months.

There’s an $89 annual fee and there’s a lot of other information, some of it is consistent with what we talked about yesterday, the interesting one is that there is a free anniversary night, but it seems that it’s going to be only at eligible hotels worldwide, the word eligible is obviously the key word, because it sounds like they’re going to exclude certain properties, some other key takeaways is that you’re going to get 10x points back at I see a 20% discount.

When you buy points and also the fourth night free, when you redeem points for your stays, the ability to buy discounted points and also getting the fourth night free, when you use their points which is probably going to be extremely powerful, when you use it at an expensive hotel, look through the math on that when the car comes out of some finalized details.

But it seems promising, there’s also going to be a Global Entry credit and you’re also going to get the same platinum status that you currently get the main thing, we need to ask yourself about what the Chase is going to be, people who have the old card in and again given the prior landing page with the legacy card, it seems that they will beyond that.

If you do want to do a bit more research of Chase and how they treat other cards in the past, I think looking at United would be a very good example, so they typically do grandfather cards for a few years, at least they might eventually force everyone to product change to the new card.

But I think that’s a few years down the line, what I don’t think will happen though is that people who have this old card would immediately be basically converted to this new card and the main reason is that the benefits are very different, so on something with the ritz-carlton card, when it was the initial carter, the 395 dollar annual fee and then when it got converted to the Visa Infinite card, everyone basically got that new card.

They were not new different products, but it looks like a completely different products, stuff like this, you basically want to minimize your downside and maximize our upside and I do think applying for the IHG card assuming that you don’t only have one slot left for 5:24 makes a lot of sense.

So there are some situations where I don’t think getting this card makes sense, if you have two slots left and you’re going for the Southwest companion, pass, then ignore this card, the Southwest companion pass is going to get you a lot more value.

I think one of the main reasons why they don’t want people to miss out is that it reminds me of the Fairmont card, so for me, I ended up getting it Mandy, missed it by a day and it’s been the card that kept giving, so it paid for the Fairmont Banff trip, so the Banff Springs which costed a crazy amount of money.

Otherwise, we stayed there for two nights, it’s given us a hundred and fifty dollars in food credit, we ended up spending it on afternoon tea, a steak as well as some fusion food for the recent trip to Arizona, we ended up using the free night at the Fairmont that they ended up giving people for hitting additional spend.

When they were about to get rid of the card, we ended up spending that at the Fairmont princess hotels, I’ll probably do a vlog style video there, but it typically cost something like five hundred dollars, then we stayed there for free, we ended up getting an upgrade as well, because we used an upgrade certificate and also ended up getting an upgrade.

When we were at the check-in desk, I guess we’ll see what happens at the IHG card, hopefully tomorrow, there is no more additional news that way, we can focus on some other topics, so I hope that was helpful and let me know if you have any questions, my question for you is what are your thoughts on the new card and also what do you read on the landing page.

So the four cards, the two business cards, what are you thinking? Let me know in the comments down below, if you liked this video, give it a thumbs up, it helps us out and if you know anyone else, who’d benefit from what we talked about, feel free to share this video with them, because it’s probably going to help them out, I hope you liked it, see you next time.
