Description: This passage is going to be about the American Airlines aviator red card issued by Barclay, it introduces the signup bonuses for this card which will help you understand if this card is worth getting
I going to talk about the American Airlines aviator red card issued by Barclay.
The signup bonus of this card currently is 60,000 points, if you’re the first purchase, you pay for the $95 annual fee, the points are at 1.5 or 1.4 cents per point which brings the value of the sign up bonus to around $900-$1,000. Those 60,000 points can get you a long way, if you can find a mile savers or a economy flight, you can get really cheap around $7,000-$8,000 one-way, around $10,000 for a little farther.
One of the best values that you can get with this card is getting a round-trip economy flight from the United States to Europe, I think that’s really great and that’s a huge benefit of the card giving that 10% back.
The rest of the features of the card are standard, you get one free checked luggage, two domestic flights, priority boarding for you and up to four people on the same reservation, you also get 25% off in-flight purchases. It’s actually not as good as the JetBlue no annual fee card which actually has 50% off in flight, but it does contain the standard 25% off in flight purchases.
Now in terms of earnings, you get two points per dollar spent on American Airlines flights and on the site, you get one point per dollar everywhere else. Since this card is a world elite MasterCard, you do get zero percent foreign transaction fees. With this card, you can get 15% off parking in over 900 destinations. You get executive status and premium status at some of the car rental agencies as well maybe you get a free car upgrade for no charge as long as this qualifying.
So this card worth getting, I think people should get this okay as long as you don’t have too many credit card openings recently.
