Description: Here in this article, the author is mainly going to show us a review about the charter spectrum TV stream, containing primarily on its advantages and disadvantages about usage.
Welcome to my review of the charter spectrum TV stream. I’ve had this service for about four months now and I thought I’d do a quick review of some of the pros and cons.
You get your local channels and you get HP or Showtime which is a good deal, because I’m sure they’re standalone services, cost more than that, what they don’t tell you in their ad is that you have to pay your local channel fee.
For me, that adds about four to five dollars to my bill, let’s see if we can focus on there, like ESPN HGTV National Geographic AMC Discovery FX history TBS, not a bad deal 1999 and then you got to add about five dollars for your local channel fees, it comes out to about 25 bucks a month.
They also give you a free Roku 3, because you have to play through the Roku instead of the traditional cable boxes which is nice, because that cuts down on your expenses for renting the boxes and had a few Roku.
I’ve been able to watch this charter stream service on multiple different TVs in my house at the same time which is nice, I know that sling TV, you can only watch on one TV at a time, but I think up to five.
If you don’t like this service for whatever reason, you get to keep your free roku 3 no strings attached, so now I’m going to go over to my TV and show you how layout of the whole thing works and how the guide and stuff shows.
We are over at the TV, this is the Roku sleep mode, it shows you the time, but you get the free Roku 3 and it comes with this nice little remote here, so when you fire up your Roku, it’ll take you to your home page.
Before you use charter service, you will have to download the app, so you’re going to first do that, once you do that, it’ll show up on your home page, when you fire it up, it goes through these checks, when you first purchase the service, these green checks won’t show up until about 48 hours.
Once you fire up the app, it takes you to the guide, it looks like a traditional guide that you’d see on a regular TV service, you can also change how the guide looks, you can change over to this guide and it’ll show you recent channels that you were on or all channels.
What movies are on? What sports are on the news stations lifestyle family? Your premium is going to be like your HBO very similar to people that are used to having a cable box and for a fraction of the cost, you can’t do better than this in terms of costs for what you get with all the channels.
It’s about 25 bucks a month which isn’t too bad. I know sling TV, it’s 20 bucks a month and that’s not including HBO or local channels, so I’ve had sling for a while and then I switched over to this and I’ve been paying a little bit more at this, but with getting the HBO and the local channels, I think it’s definitely worth it, this is my review of the charter spectrum TV stream for future review videos.
