Description : This article is intended to tell you in the clubhouse and on the field, it’s difficult when you have to move people that the organization has become attached to and introduce the possible people who will replace Chase Headley to play third base next year.
I think in the clubhouse and on the field, it’s difficult when you have to move people that the organization has become attached to. But it is also a business and we are trying to create the flexibility.
This was a situation that allowed it. We hope that it will puts on some better footing, open up some more options to add not only this week, but also leading into spring training.
It also opens up the question who is going to play third base next year. Todd Frazier who is a free agent did a nice job at the end of the year. His young kid Andujar can swing the bat but needs a little work defensively. All is going to flash over the next couple of months.
Glaber, Torres, Andujar, all these are ready to contribute on a full-time basis at the big league level in next a few months. We’ll see if we’re able to add a piece here or there that may slow down those clocks a little bit.
Allow some of those people that we think will impact the big-league club at some point to get more seasoning in triple-a. It depends on what deals were able to put together. We’re hard as we speak up in that room deal. Anytime you see a people like chase headley here, he always plays an on the back part.
