Description: The article will mention “My Writing Lab” which is an intensive intervention program that allows the students to practice more on grammar and reading to get dpcs focus.
My writing lab is an intensive intervention program that allows the students to practice more on grammar and reading so that they don’t have to take developmental classes in college which will save their parents and the students lots of time and money.
The grant enabled us to purchase more of those licenses for the students and we couldn’t be more excited about it, we are excited that we were able to help the students in Apollo Quentin.
Going through the nomination process was a difficult process, it is very simple process, I encourage everyone to nominate someone from their school for the award, because it not only does help with collaboration, it also looks good in your school.
It’s easy to apply for a phone okis award, we’re very delighted that Quentin felt strong enough about Miss Richardson’s teaching ability to nominate her.
Last year, she has a thousand dollars in her classroom at Apollo high school to spend on my writing lab, we hope that you will find someone, public schools made an impact upon your child, whatever the application process is, you can go to our website at WWF and asian for DCPS org or you can email me at vicky’s q at foundation for DCPS org.
A simple email can act as your nomination as well, I’ve had a couple of staff members asked me this year if it’s possible to nominate themselves, if you have a project that you want to do and a thousand dollars would help you get, there would make an impact on your kids.
We get focus towards in four areas health literacy technology and great expectations, so we hope to get your application soon, applications are due in February, 19th.
Welcome to enhancing education through the foundation, I’m executive director, Vicky Quisenberry with the foundation for Davis County Public Schools and today we’re out at Apollo high school with Quinton Owens and Jennifer Richardson.
What did you do about a year ago? I nominated Jennifer Richardson for the focus award, primarily because in the second term of our school year, I had a lot of co-teaching classes with freshman, their reading and writing ability had improved since the eighth grade year.
A lot of people said that was because they had Jennifer Richardson for read 180, that class helped them and gave them confidence, so I took that and decided to nominate Jennifer Richardson for the focus award.
You had several people show up in your classroom, we disrupted your class, I am so grateful for this grant, it’s been a blessing, this impacted the students at Apollo high school, I have seen your classes and those classes are made up of students who are working towards their college and career readiness goals.
