Description: This passage is mainly about http twitch tv activate. In this passage, we can know five useful tips to grow the twitch channel in 2018, which has helped the writer do that very much.
No matter what anyone tries to tell you, you can still grow a successful channel on Twitch, here are five ways to do that. Why do you give it a crack here? From twitch.TV slash, this is David Franco, which happens to be behind me. I love it. Twitch is a big part of my life nowadays, and I’ve learned a lot throughout the past few months, so I figured for today’s article.
I’m going to give you five tips that have been working for me, and I like to say that if it works for me, then it could easily work for you and possibly even better, but first of all, I want to say that I’m not a twitch expert and far from switch expert, there are much bigger twitch streamers than I and I will never be, but I like to think about what I’m doing.
I’ve certainly learned a lot, so let’s jump into it, it’s the first tip and this is the most obvious tip that everyone is going to tell you, but it’s the god-honest truth that you need the stream regularly now. I’m not saying that you need the stream every single day, for eight hours straight, 10 hours straight, 12 hours straight, that’s a lot, but you should definitely stream regularly.
So you don’t stream every single day, but maybe on Monday, Wednesday, Friday or every Tuesday and Thursday or even weekends at a certain time such as 7-8 p.m. So stream regularly gives your viewers an idea of when you’re going to go live, and the rest will happen naturally.
The second is to play games that others want to watch, now this goes against what I’ve said in recent articles, and that’s the fact that you should only play games that you enjoy, and I guess it’s so easily true, but for the games that you enjoy, but you don’t think others will enjoy, then play them off stream, play them in your own time.
Because if you’re trying to grow the switch following, you need to play games that others are going to want to watch you play, this goes for games such as Rainbow six, siege fortnight, pub G and not games such as King oddball. I love King oddball, it’s incredibly simple physics based game, but other people are not obsessed with King oddball like I am.
So stick the games that others will enjoy, but make sure at the same time OF that their games that you want to play yourself, do not feel forced to play games that you don’t enjoy, because it’s where the fun is in.
The third tip is possibly the biggest one except for number one, interact with your audience and get to know them. I cannot stand when I’m watching a streamer and they’re ignoring their audience. I realize you get to a certain point such as your ninja or King Richard or myth, and you have thousands upon thousands of people watching you at the same time, so I completely understand if you miss some messages here and there.
But if you’re like me and you get an average between 30 and 40 viewers daily, there’s no reason why you cannot be interacting with the chat, that’s a giant clock, but interact and notice who are regularly there and get to know them personally, believe me, I am a living proof of that you need to get to know people, and I have a regular audience every single night.
I love the fact that they enjoy that I call them by their first name, because it’s more personal that way, and I know there are some people out there who don’t want their names out there, and that’s perfectly fine, but if you recognize that, they’re there once a day, twice a day or even three times a week, make it known that they’re regular and say welcome back.
Don’t say welcome, say things such as welcome back, thanks for coming back, I appreciate your support, make it known that they’re noticed. The forth one and honestly, this is the newest tip that I recently picked up on display, a followers counter goal at that in your stream display goal whether it’s followers subs cheers for me personally, since I’m still getting started in a way.
My stream has a followers goal up there, you probably can’t see it where the facecam is, it says followers goal twelve out of five, that means I set a goal for five new followers this morning when I strained for two and a half hours, but I gained 12 out of those five followers. I more than doubled my goal, and honestly that’s a huge deal not only for you, but for your viewers.
If they see a counter goal such as a follower goal, subscriber goal or whatever they are going to go out of their ways to help you out, and they get some rec missions in the stream, so say thank you for following, thank you for subbing, and it happens from there on out, but I cannot express enough how much this followers goal has helped me.
Player dot me is the website to use a followers goal that I’m using, check it out below, player dot me is an amazing website and free. The fifth tip is to share your stream, I know this is a common sense, and this is a lot easier for people, such as myself who already have existing audiences on YouTube, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and all those networks.
But if you don’t have followers like I do, there’s no reason why you can’t get a few people in your stream, get you started, share your link on Facebook and Twitter, even if you don’t have a huge following, use hashtags, invite your friends, invite your family. You can say that I’m going to be playing this for an hour, so it would be cool if you join in and help me out.
So then if new viewers join your chat room, and they see that you already have a handful of people viewing, they must think that this person’s doing something right, I’m going to stick around, I’m going to follow and I’ll watch future streams, it’s like a snowball effect, you get to start with one, and then eventually it turns into 2 4 8 16 32 64 and so on, but that’s not it.
We have a bonus tip to share today, this is a common sense, this goes for anything in regards to growing a brand online, and that’s to be patient, you need to be patient, you need to be patient, you think I will get almost 3,000 followers overnights, this is taking months to achieve, because I’m patient, I’m consistent, I show that I care, I play games, I love them, I interact with the audience and I encourage that interaction.
Sometimes I am going to ask my chat room about what’s new today, what you are doing today, what you have for dinner, how the weather is, even small talks can go a long way, because small talks can turn into big talks.
Those are my five tips on how to grow on Twitch in 2018 plus one bonus tip, I will say however this is not it, I plan on making a follow-up article with five more tips that I want to share in regards the growing of twitch brand or twitch channel in 2018.
So what do you think these tips help, put them into effect, take action and start growing your channel, it’s easier than you might think, you have to be patient, good timing, shout out to eat and sleep lift eighty-six per following see, that’s what I’m talking about notifications to show that you give a crap, because you don’t know. Thank you for reading, follow my twitch below, and I’ll see you next time. Let’s go lemmings. who’s a fan?
