Description: This passage is going to be talking about how to complete review and how to unlock activity in Edgenuity in the teacher’s aspect to keep a good track on the student’s study.
From time to time, a student will have what’s called a complete review and it’s indicated by this orange or golden exclamation point to the left of their name on the dashboard. So what this means is that they’ve completed a review for a unit test and now they need your approval to move on. Now we have this set, so that is what is required that way a student can can get feedback from you before moving on to the test.
So I’m going to click on this and then click on review and we will see that this student took a unit test review and although the unit test is what’s highlighted that’s because that’s the next thing that she needs to do. However what we need to do is to click on unit test review above, you can see the score, you can see how much time was spent on the unit test review, you can see the date and the time that the attempt was done, and if there was more than one attempt or if they went in and went out for a number of times that would be listed as well.
So what I recommend is that you click on view right down here and you can see what the student did well in and what they missed, so I can go directly to this the questions that were missed, take a look and see how they were answered and from that I can either suggest that she go back and review some instruction, do some additional reading whether it’s your own document that you want her to read or you wanted to go online and look at something you’re able to do, or you can move her on.
Anytime you do any of this, I suggest you put a comment, always make sure you update your comments. Once you’ve done that, if you wanted to change the score, for example, if you thought question 4 was not a good question and you want to get rid of it, by all means that’s completely up to you, and you would need to adjust the score to have a total of 14 questions and the same with number 6. You can also see what the assignments were, what the questions were and it will give a link to some of the reading, if you’re in an English class or a history class.
So I’ll close out of this, if you’ve decided that she is good to move on, all you do is to click on unit test and then click complete review or unlock activity, and it says are you sure, you say submit and the activity is unlocked and she may then take that test.
If you find that you are not ready to move them on and you want them to go back and re-listen to something or reduce something, you could go back and click on instruction meaning you want her to re-listen to the instruction before taking the test, all you would do is to click on that instruction, click on reset activity, it will force her back to listen to that once again, when she’s done it will take her back to the unit test.
