Description: The article below is mainly about learn edgenuity student, teaching you how to use a Genuity for your primary content. After you use that, your students can look at their progress bar.
If you’re using a Genuity for your primary content, you may want to consider having students look at their progress bar. Here’s an example of a progress chart that a student might see. They have a completion bar as well as an overall grade progress bar.
How do you know that these are accurate? One way that you can check if the completion part is accurate is to look at these target and start dates. These were not generated by maestro. If you are using a Genuity in your course and you want students to use this progress bar, you’ll need to set up these start and target dates.
I’m going to show you how to do that. First of all, you’re going to go to courses. You need to manage courses and search for your class. click it and go to edit course options. there is a space at the bottom of this page for your starting and target dates.
We need to start the quarter on a certain date and we’re going to end the quarter on a certain date. I really encourage you to use those predetermined dates in here. Then hit submit. Now you have these three options that come up.
I would not go with the first option even though this is recommended because you want to apply this to all the students in your class. Choose the second option and hit submit. When your students look at their progress bar, it should be accurate.
