Login Demo Nest Cam Thermostat’s 7 Menu Options

June 1, 2018

Description: This passage is mainly about nest cam login. In this passage, the writer introduces the features of the Nest app as well as the advantages of that, which can be done by your smart phones.

This is Eliot here, I’m inside my smart home, and I have had this beautiful nest thermostat installed by my friends at Geek Squad, as you can see here, it is DIY by myself, but I’d leave it to the pros, here are some of the packaging left over from nest.

One of the cool things that I love about the packaging is that it is pronouncing the DIY element, here you’ve got a branded nest Phillips screwdriver, I think that is a very cool chachki or swag device to include, although I don’t have much big use for it, since I have the Geek Squad.

You can see some of the items that come inside the box, you’re wondering what could have gone over here andserved as a back plate for us, and cover things up such as little hole here, but for my previous thermostat, there is no problem. I’m very handy with the spackling compound in painting.

So I’ll touch that up, but I like the cleaner look, you can see here on the wall with controlling my nest and the actual drywall here, so in case you’re wondering that’s something I consider using but I have figured, I will repair that and have minused as a sleeker look.

I think it is also helpful to show you some of the seven features that you can see on the nest thermostat, keep in mind if you install the free app for Android or iOS devices, you don’t necessarily have to worry about controlling this manually, you can take a look here, there are seven different menu categories that you can control manually with the turn of a dial here, or through your smartphone.

Let’s look at the first one here, this check mark is a quick summary of the outside and indoors here, so you can see in Toronto where I’m located, it’s a cool 6 degrees outside, so definitely I take my jacket out when I take the dog out for a walk, you can see the date and time is displayed from my smart phone, it’s updated through the app which is very cool.

Then it’s the inside temperature, so I’m at a very comfortable 21 degrees, and I’ve got to set it to 18 and a half, that’s the temperature that I want to in terms of keep the house cool on a spring day, such as today, so it’s 21 degrees on the inside, 38 degrees is a humidity, 38 degrees is a little bit more dry than I’d like to.

But what’s great about this is that I can actually open up the doors or the windows, and get a little bit of that cool spring air in here, let’s move along, this is a thermostat feature of where you can update your heating and your cooling, maybe you want a combination of both to have a good balance or turn the system completely off.

I’ll leave it on, I like things to be fairly cool at 18 and 1/2 degrees Celsius, and it’s a fun feature there when you go to the next setting, now we’re looking at the fan, and you’ve got this on an automatic setting, you can change things up for every day or even fire things up now.

This is a great way for me to pull in fresh air from the outside, and keep things fresh and nice and comfortable on the indoors and smelling well as well as energy usage, this is a great way to monitor exactly how much energy is using, when it comes to your heating and cooling, you can see that I had energy uses of none yesterday, because it was a very nice day in Toronto, but what’s cool about this is that you can see how you’ve been doing, and then it will say your current temperatures as well.

So it’s a great way to monitor your usage and also monitor your energy, bills scheduling is a very practical feature here, this has been set up when I wake up at 6:00 in the morning, I want the heat to be roughly a two and a half degrees Celsius and not too much colder than that, so I can get my day started and have a comfortable temperature that I love.

You can control that manually through this device or through your smart phone, which is very practical, there are a couple of more settings to go through here, there’s the Settings feature, and as you can see, you can do all of the things that I have mentioned earlier, and it’s a very fun way to have things such as reminders.

You can adjust the brightness or even this clicking sound that you hear, you can control that and turn things off if you don’t like that, I like it, so I will leave it, Fahrenheit and Celsius can also be displayed depending on your preference, and all of fun features includes your network, nest accounts, the locations, language and everything that you would expect out of your settings feature.

Then last but not least after settings, we’ve got the Home and Away mode here, the device knows that I’m at home and the thermostat, because I have things set up with the app, it can know when my device and I am at home, therefore it can know that the eighth-and-a-half setting that I have talked about earlier.

You can also set things on a way mode as well, and this will happen automatically when I leave the home, and it’ll identify that when my smart phone device is left at the home, and it can do things such as shut the temperatures off, or when I walk through the door maybe, when it’s outside the schedule, it can know to heat things up in this case, thanks very much, this is Elliot for the Best Buy plugin blog.
