Description: This article is related to showtime anytime com activate. The author primarily has a quick review on the apps, HBO and Showtime. The writer shows both of them to help you choose one of them or both for great programs.
I’m going to do a quick review by using an Apple TV. What we’re going to review is the app HBO. The Showtime apps work on your phone, Roku or other different devices. I like the Apple TV, a lot of people have the preferences, but I like Apple TV. I have Roku, I also have Google Chromecast, another one that I don’t have is the Amazon Fire which I would like to try eventually.
So we’re going to review the HBO, I’ve got to zoom in my TV. Some of you don’t know that HBO and Showtime offer platform like Netflix where you pay fee monthly, and you don’t have to have it to your cable company, you can watch the movies that they offer. We have Netflix Hulu Plus.
But let me go to HBO, we’ll open that app up. This one’s $14 a month. HBO has got a lot of great programs, I like HBO a lot. You also have your series and movies. The same stuff that you have on platforms is that it’s $14.99 a month. It’s running slow, because I’ve got too many devices hooked to my router, it’ll catch up a second HBO though it is $14 a month.
I love the show Ballers, so I’ve got it for that. I enjoy it. I decide to try the Showtime, one to both offer a 30-day trial for free. I suggest you charm both for 30 days and see which one you like better. The Showtime is a little cheaper per month. I like its layout, it is better, it’s faster.
Here’s the cool thing with Showtime, you’ve got your live TV feature. I like to fall asleep as I watch TV, sometimes I like to turn something on to hear it. I don’t have cable in my room, I have cable TV in my front room, I never run an outlet into my bedroom, because I don’t need it. So the live TV feature is cool.
Let’s go back to live TV, this is showing what’s on. This is on Showtime East, it has got schedule about what’s coming up throughout the day. So you can go back, you can go to Showtime West, this is what’s on Showtime West. There’s the schedule below.
Let’s go back to Showtime East, we want to turn something on and let it play. You hit it, now you’re going to watch what’s on Showtime. Some of you might not like that feature, I think that it’s cool, it is a neat feature to have. Let’s go back, the Showtime is better.
Let’s go to categories, then you have your movies, sports and comedy. I don’t watch reality show and documentaries, I go to movies. When you hit your movies, you are going to have different genres on your left. It tells you what what you’re looking for. If you want to see all the movies, you can go up and hit all movies. So I like the way that they’ve got it categorized.
This is on the Apple TV layout, it may be different on some of the other devices. Let me go back to HBO. Let’s go to movies again, this one runs slower. I don’t know why it runs slower than the Showtime. So you’ve got your genre. We’ll go to comedy. That’s got a different layout of it. I like both of them.
What I like about the Showtime is that it’s cheaper per month, but the contents are a little different compared to HBO. I like the live TV feature/. My suggestion is that you should try both of them. They have a 30-day trial for free. Check them out.
Leave your comments below and let us know which one do you like better, HBO or Showtime or both. I may keep them up for $25 a month, you’re getting both platforms. We give you what you want, this is the Apple TV reviewing HBO and Showtime, leave your comments below and subscribe. Thanks.
