Description: The following article is mainly designed to talk about usaa com activate. In this article, the author shows that the USAA closed his account without specifying which transactions have been determined to be business transactions.
This is Jefferson here. I’ve received some letters from USAA. This has been a repeat back in 2014. I received this letter before and I’ll put a link if you want to read the original article of your earned or the most part. I think this doesn’t apply to most people. This gives me certain amount of energy to explain this stuff that makes me feel empowered.
Based on the two letters, you can see they’re much identical. The differences maybe the Times Roman font is now taken with a sans serif thing without the little serif fonts. That’s a nice improvement. I called in and I was on the phone for about first 15 minutes talking to a woman named Rebecca.
That’s the first-tier. She put me on hold for about 16 minutes as she tried to contact whoever. What she told me was that I needed to message someone on USAA about it. The letters were clear about calling. They used the term that it was an urgent matter or which was concerning.
I guess it was not urgent enough. If it was urgent, they would call you. I called in, because I did that back in 2014 and as frustrating I should have probably read my notes from there. I probably shouldn’t have wasted my time calling probably next time. I’ll message them and see what exactly it is. They’re having issues with my account.
They call the Executive resolutions team which is the catch-all for the next level up. I talked with Linda. We ended up being on the phone for probably about an hour. I started talking with Belinda about 30 minutes and we ended up getting disconnected about an hour.
I don’t know if it was me. It’s hard to say who knows this. There’s no point to call back, because we hit a problem between both of us. My main issue is that they say this account is a personal account and it has not set up for a business use. They recently evaluated activity on my account and determined that it is being used to process business transactions.
The blanket reasons are here now. I feel bad for the executive resolutions team, because my main question is what exactly the transactions on my account are or which have been determined that to be used that are determined to be business transactions obviously.
Someone’s accusing me of doing business transactions on a personal account. I don’t know who those individuals are. I think they are general placeholders. These aren’t the people who’ve reviewed my account. They have some algorithm that can flag the accounts and someone overlooks it and confirms it. They send out the letter.
A problem that I have is that I call in and I waste about an hour trying to figure out what the transactions are, but they won’t be able to say that. They say they’re not sure. I think they try to guess or ask questions on the account in terms of transactions. I don’t know if the Executive resolutions team or the higher management team have nodes which they’re not able to disclose to the client.
It’s a very strange process, because they brought up questions. I have a lot of cash back, so they say this cash back is not related to business when I use a credit card. They have questions about transfers that I am having between all my various bank accounts, but obviously, this doesn’t apply to most people. Most people aren’t as crazy as me in terms of the way to manage personal finances.
I manage it as a business. I have business accounts, but I also manage my personal account as a business account. It’s a high transaction volume which is more than the normal person. Let’s face it. Most people are not very financial literate especially if they’re involved with the military. I don’t know what the stasis is, but obviously, I’m in the top one percent or top ten percent.
The way that I look at it makes me be penalized, because I’m getting targeted. I have a higher volume account than most people. I manage my account, because I’m higher net worth. I have a higher transaction account in terms of the number of transactions.
I think it’s a little bit unfair that I’m being targeted, then it become worse when I ask what the exact transactions are. They said they valued it on my account and determined that it was being used to process business transactions. I object to that. It is not used to process business transactions.
If USAA could specify what exactly the transactions are and which they have determined as a business transactions, I can stop doing those transactions. Then I can stop having to waste my time. On my frustration, it is the fact that they can’t specify what it is.
They say they are the business transactions and all they can do is to guess, because they see this on my account. They will ask you to explain this transaction, then they want to go through 180 days or 90 days of my history and grill me on it.
They keep asking if this is a business transaction and if that is a business transaction, but they won’t be able to specify it. If I answer that the issue is for specific transaction, they’re going to ask questions on all my transactions. Hopefully, one of them was the one that they were looking for.
It boggles my mind. It’s crazy, because obviously, someone determined it. They flagged my account. Look, their names are probably copied and pasted. I would like to talk to someone to make sure the reason why they have determined my account as a business transaction. There’s no question about it.
They say that I need to stop all business transactions within 30 days or they regret that they’ll be forced to close my account. What are the business transactions that you want me to stop? What are some examples of the business transactions that you have determined our business transactions? If you can show to me, I will stop them. If you can not, I need to know that.
My question is why they can’t tell me what the business transactions that you have determined are. That is the frustrating part. They don’t spend five minutes for you whoever the representative is and whatever they write. It’s the common sense.
Please tell me what the business transactions are, so I can stop it. I have some ideas because of all the questions that she’s asking are about the transfer activity or the checks. I’m depositing a large amount of money. USAA can’t officially tell you that they don’t want your high volume account as a personal account.
I need to go with a bank that is used by high net-worth individuals. I don’t know if this is weird. It’s strange and weird. I understand that most people aren’t going to run into this issue, but that’s the way it is. Hopefully, I can get it resolved.
It will be updated once I find out what those transactions that were causing the problems are. I can stop doing it and not use USAA or those particular transactions. I will use a different account to keep getting these emails and these letters. That’s annoying.
