Description: This is a quick overview on intacct login. Intacct has the most capable custom reporting interface I have utilized to date, saving hours of time formerly spent on the extraction, transformation, and production of standard company reports.
This is Jeremy from InnoVergent and today I’m going to show you the new interface from intacct called intacct 2012. One of the new features is a simpler interface. It’s easier to navigate and it has a more efficient menu structure.
Let me jump into the application. This is intacct old user interface or UI to show you the difference in the menu structure. Let me create a new vendor, so you go to accounts payable, records, vendors and add.
This is intacct’s new UI called intacct 2012. To create a new vendor, you go to accounts payable and click the plus sign next to vendors. It’s much faster and more efficient. The new UI took tests not used on a daily basis and remove them from your daily view.
An example with the AP terms which are payment terms of vendors such as net 30, so in the old UI to create a new payment term, you go to accounts payable, records, AP turns and add. It’s in your daily view.
In the new UI, you go to accounts payable and down in the bottom corner, there’s an open set up, when you click that, these are tastic, you don’t use on a daily basis and you’ll see that AP terms and you can click the buff plus button.
When you open the setup, the setup stays open for all the different drop downs, also included the new user interface which is improved to bookmarking. You’re somebody who do a lot of journal entries, so you want to access them quickly from anywhere in application.
To do that, you click blue star in the top right corner and I’ll add it to your bookmarks. Then you can click on red triangle, go down to your bookmarks, the journal entries will be there. No matter where you are in the application, you can open and click a new journal entries to access your journal entry screen.
In the new UI, if you want to save your journal entry screen, you can go to the star in the top right corner, and click bookmark this page. Once you click that, it’ll add the journal entries to your favorites.
Wherever you are in application, you can go up to your favorites and click on journal entries to access regional entries. In fact it now has a report Center where you can view and favorite all of your reports.
To access the report Center, you can click on reports. All of your reports are listed in the report Center. You can favor reports by clicking the stars next to the report to use most frequently. You can click on my favorites and no filter by the Stars.
Some additional new features in regards to reports include being able to add an ads update to the reports titles. If you delete a report, it’ll automatically alert you. If any dashboard or memorized group is using it, in igc you can report exchange rates used for each entity.
In the general ledger, you can easily import data to the GL directly from the journal entry screen. You can also quickly and easily add, remove and reorder lines on the journal entries. If I go to general ledger, journal entry, from here I can now import transactions.
Let me tell you some of the new features on the journal entry screen. If I wanted to move inventory above cash, I could click on the left and drag it above cash. I’ll move it. Pick I didn’t want this inventory line.
I can slide to the right and click the trash can for that line. If I want to add more lines, you can click plus sign. In fact now it has new transaction for order entry, purchasing and inventory. Intacct used to split the header and line items between two separate tabs.
Everything has now been consolidated to one screen where you can quickly and easily create sales orders. Go over a few additional new features now. Intacct and claire’s now have an integration which are synchronizes, projects, tasks, customers and employees.
Projects now include additional billing methods which include percent complete and milestone. There’s a new audit tracking report which lists all changes to user permissions and who made those changes.
You can manage tax for international transactions. Administrators can now view, edit and delete custom dashboards. This is especially useful when employees leave the company. I’ll tell you how to enable the new user interface for your account.
First log into your account, go to company, set up my preferences, scroll down and change the layout type from application to intacct 2012 and save. Then go to company, company information, edit, display, and then enable new transaction screens.
Check that and save. Now you have enabled the new UI and transaction. This was a quick overview of intacct new UI. Please leave any questions or comments below and thanks for reading.
