It’s freed up a lot of time so we can move things forward,we can improve other processes that we weren’t able to touch before. The credit union recently invested in visual analytics from SAS. Visual analytics is an organization that we feel proud of. We can use that to lay on top of our data,we can provide actionable insight to our internal customers.
Besides the nice visuals that the tool provided,I was impressed by the forecasting functions the visual analytics provides,it also has some advanced analytical functions. It is going to provide our internal customers with the information through a mobile device,but it’s not going to be static,we’ll be able to build it on the back end,they’ll be able to run with it.
The credit unions marketing group sees tremendous benefit from SAS too. We focused on some of the transactional data coming from the branches. Before we had SAS,we couldn’t even look at this,it was nothing we could use,it was too large. With the help of enterprise,we can bring different sources together and get a 360 degree view of who our members are.
As we figure out what products our members have,we can focus more on where we need to grow,the lacking aspects of our products. We can tailor our marketing plan to that.
With these powerful tools from SAS,leaders within the credit union see bright days ahead. They’ve seen the progress that we’re making with analyzing our data,we are gathering more insight. It comes more expectations,we’re definitely up for the challenge,they’re all going to be great resources.
