Welcome back to the my chance up overview tutorial,in this segment we’re going to talk about the Resource Center and show you how the Resource Center works. This will be the final tutorial for this particular section or particular user type. To get to the resource,you need to hover over the resources section,you can also use this directory widget or you can use the interactive map here. But we’ll use the resource drop down here.
There are two ways to get there,you can use the interactive map. We have a rover District of Columbia,we can click on that and it will take us to Washington. If we click on 20011,we will find ourselves over here and here is our resource item,you can see you’re in your resources direct access menu,it will take you to the same place,we’ll do that in a moment.
We can go here by using the interactive map and this will take you to the 9th,you’ve got the nineteenth Street Baptist Church,that’s in 2001 one and northwest DC. The user can give comments,you can see do a comment here,we can opt in to this particular resource.
It allows a lot of different functions where the employer or the provider can have access to information in regard to the users use of this particular resource,it also gives us the ability to use that user activity as well. This opt-in and opt-out button are very important,they can like or dislike as well,it gives us some user metrics on what they’re doing with these particular products.
That’s the interactive map,if we want to use the direct access menu,you can click that,it’ll take us to the direct access menu that you saw there,if we want to go to District of Columbia,we can navigate to 200 11,that’s how you navigate the Resource Center,that’s an overview of our resources.
It’s a tunnel down,you’ll always have these bread crumbs here,if you can always go back up,Washington can take you to the state of Washington. There’s our 2011,we can click the Go button to go to any resource category resource item section,all the items will be contained in the zip code which is the final destination of each one of these breadcrumbs.
Here you have Andrews air force base,Washington,Washington navy yard,region 3,it gives you all the states Delaware district of Columbia Maryland Pennsylvania Virginia and west Virginia. Provider Plaza is where you have your regions,there are different regions with the different states,they are all broken up in regions.
The home is the three main categories that we have in there,the employment plaza is where you can get employers and job seekers,they meet up there,then the provider Plaza is where you have products and services because we were on the provider plaza for Washington DC .
That gives you an overview of the Resource Center and how to tunnel in and tunnel out and how to search,you can always do a keyword search if you want to,that works as well,you should get some results from that. It works very well,that’s the search function and that concludes the tutorial for the basic user. In our next section,we will go over some different functions of some different users.
