Description: This article focuses on my verizon login, in which the author decided to check out Verizon Wireless’s My Verizon app after signing up for Verizon Wireless Prepaid with his iPhone. With My Verizon he can manage his account directly from iPhone.
My name is Bob Thomson for smartphone matters. Today I want to talk a little bit more about Verizon wireless prepaid. I went through and I signed up for Verizon Wireless as prepaids bring your own device or BYOD plan.
I used my iPhone 6 while the phone’s been running with Verizon for a while and all seems good, the next step for me was to go and set up my Verizon account and install the Verizon app on my phone.
That’s what I wanted to talk about today, I went to the App Store and then I searched for a Verizon Wireless, there were a bunch of apps, there were the my Verizon app, Verizon cloud, Verizon family locator, Verizon support and protection, message plus, Verizon family base, backup assistant, my Verizon Enterprise, VZ Navigator and then finally Verizon my FiOS.
You’ll notice that the first set of apps were from Verizon Wireless and Verizon my FiOS which is from Verizon Services Corporation, that’s for Verizon FiOS television not for Verizon Wireless, but let’s count, Verizon Wireless has nine apps available.
I haven’t tried all nine, I installed the my Verizon app on my phone, I set up my Verizon account so that I could manage my phone, my bill and find out information about my account. I already installed the app .
The first time you open the app, you need to go through and create your account, that takes a few minutes, but I didn’t have any problem with it, I got my account set up, when I open the app immediately on the home page, I can see my plan cost which is $45.
I can see that my plan real news on the 18th of every month, it seems that they have button to set up auto pay and then to add funds and to suspend your service, if you look down at the bottom of the screen, they have some usage details.
For example, I still have 1.678 gigabytes of high-speed data remaining, there’s the option to add more data, if I tap the usage, it seems that it wants me to log in, I have logged in, they show you your data usage and they also have tabs for your talk and your text.
When you tap the talk and text, it’ll give you more details, we can take a look at what other features are in this, they have home payment, usage, balance details, plan and data features, settings, device health check and sign out.
They have features for international long distance calling, ringback tones, caller ID block, block text and pictures and block premium messaging, I have all those features off, I also have the payment option where you can set up your payment data.
If you make it very clear, you’ll get bonus data, if you set up auto pay where they charge your credit card every month, you’ll get that one gigabyte of high-speed bonus data every month, for most people that’s a good deal.
