Description: This article is about netspend login, in which the author complains that how these prepaid debt cards claim to do the same as other debt cards but add fees and take advantage. The author complained about this and hope that someone could help her.
My name is Debra Seamster. I have been having problems monetarily like anyone else in this country. With the recession that’s happening. You tend to pay attention to your accounts and what you spend your money on.
I went into a store called home town thrift, I purchased a sofa for $18 with a $25 delivery, my business is around although after Christmas time, I being a Christian person thought that I needed free furniture.
I had left a domestic shelter, but I could afford $18, when they hit me with a 25 delivery charge, I was shocked, because I wanted to buy a lot more, I thought it’s a blessing, so I purchased it thinking that this furniture would be delivered and it wasn’t.
I purchased it with my NetSpend card, I expected delivery within the next business day, it’s what I was told, however, it didn’t happen, I called the store, we had a little small snowstorm, but they were moving, they said that their truck was broken down, but they were going to get to me.
When I called the store, they seemed to act as though they didn’t know who I was or they didn’t know where the merchandise was and and so forth, being that I had to pick up my daughter, I decided to come over there and find out what was going on.
When I got there, this young man asked me that I need to come in the back of the store to see where my merchandise was, when I refused to go, I want to know is that you wanted to deliver it, when he blatantly said we’re on that layout right now and another man called me saying that he was out in the delivery truck delivering it.
I knew there I was being taken advantage of, so I tried to call the police department, it was the holy police department, I got some cars come out and I told them what the problem was that these people had taken 46 dollars of my money and have acted as though they know where the merchandise was or acted as if I was confused or creating unnecessary burden on the whole situation.
All I wanted was my furniture delivered, so the officer who was thinking ponch on, I think the Brit Police Department took the report and advised me that by Tuesday of the following week if I had not had my furniture, pursue it legalized in the port.
I decided to go about it another way, since I had purchased it with my NetSpend card, it was a backing on it whenever you purchase merchandise, if you do not have it, there’s only a problem with it, it guaranteed your money back.
I contacted NetSpend after time went past and that’s been promised to me within the 10 business days, my money would be recredited, I didn’t worry about it, I didn’t push the issue, however, when I got low on funds, that’s when things start to get sticky.
Now I have the problem of NetSpend who gets my SSI check or has been getting my SSI check every month since not early, it’s almost been a year, it’s been four years, ever since then, I don’t understand why these people are reluctant to put a forty six dollar credit on it or to follow the rules and regulations.
My complaint the hometown thrift store is on a 5 out Ridge Road, it is good quality furniture, but I never got it, I contacted those people, they called me, I refused to call back and beg for my furniture.
I make the statement, once I asked to speak to the manager, I was very prim and proper about the whole situation, I asked where my furniture was and I didn’t get it for my own bank to withhold credit from me, it sounds like to me that it’s a shame fighting over $46, but in this day at times it’s hard, I need every dime and penny to live, so I’m hoping that you all as the investigative news team and reporters will look into and investigate it. Thanks so much.
