We’re going to talk about the Pearson VUE trick. There’s a lot of discrepancy on whether it works or doesn’t,I’m here today to clarify that. I took my NCLEX yesterday and I used the Pearson to see whether I passed or not. Pearson Dietrich confirmed that I had passed and today I received my license,it’s on the Board of Nursing website,so it works,it’s a little different than what it used to be.
But I believe anybody who’s watching this today is only concerned with how to do the Pearson trick,now I’m going to lead you through the process. As I’m going along,I’m going to put pictures so you can understand what I’m doing and know what I’m talking about.

The first thing you’re going to need is a valid credit card,it does not need to have $200 in the account,we’re going to use that to complete the Pearson trick. The second thing you’re going to need is the Pearson login that you used initially to register for your exam. The last thing you need is the web address for the Pearson sign-in page. I’ll put a link because it can be confusing.we have everything we need,let’s go and get started.
This is the sign-in page,you can put in your username and password,you can go ahead and sign in,you’re going to select to start the registration process,you will select the type of license you are seeking after,that should give you drop-down menu,you’ll select nclex-rn or PM,you can select the next on this page,you need to answer all the questions.
At the bottom right corner of this page,you’re going to get a prices estimate of how much the NCLEX will cost,you can go ahead and select next. This is where it gets a little tricky. For this one you need to fill out all the information as if you are purchasing the NCLEX by using the credit card as long as it’s valid.
The only thing you’re going to do differently is that instead of putting in the correct expiration for your card or the correct CVC,you’re going to put the wrong CVC and the wrong expiration,this is a crucial step otherwise you will be charged after you have entered all your information.
You can go down to the bottom right corner of the page and select next,it will bring you to this window where you will be ready to submit the order as if you are purchasing the NCLEX exam. Once you click submit order,one of two things is going to happen,if you fail,you’ll get a pop-up window that saying that your credit card information is incorrect and you need to try to enter the card again,but if you pass,then this window will pop up and you will get the alert at the very top of the page,this means that you have passed.
There are a few things that I want to clarify with you. Do not take this as absolute certainty that you passed your exam because there is a small margin of error,99% of the time it works and it is a good determinate on whether you passed or not.
The only thing is that there is that 1% of students who get a false good pop up and they didn’t pass. There is a time frame that needs to be followed,you need to wait at least four hours otherwise you could get a false good pop up. If you don’t feel comfortable with your result,don’t stress about it,within 48 hours they will give you a quick result that you can pay for on the Pearson website,it’s only eight dollars. I took my test at two o’clock yesterday and within 24 hours my license was already registered on the Board of Nursing website.
