Description: This is an introduction which is mainly focused on teaching you how to use the planner hub screen of Office 365 on which you can create, see and manage your tasks.
So now that we’re already in office 365, let’s select on the planner to get started. We should come directly into our planner hub, and if for some reason you did not come into planner hub, click the left hand side. This is an introduction to the planner hub screen.
Here we have favorite plans as well as other plans, as we scroll down all other plans, we shall have our favorite here, which we can use. We also have our my tasks section, which will allow you to view tasks that are assigned specifically to you within all of your plans.
Now there’s two ways to do this, we click on H&I; Hardware, and we shall do chart, you go over here to buckets, so I seem to be picking the ones and we have four different buckets. If I wanted to move something between buckets, these are notice write-ups presentations training advertising. This is on H&I marketing, so I can move this right over here, I can also create a new task by simply clicking on that.
These are groupings. Now I have all the hubs, and I break them down to six different plans, because I want to see the individual tasks related to each one of these in the circular format. So we found one with some buckets in it write-ups presentations advertising these. If you are doing this as a single plan, you might have a plan called H and then each one of these buckets up here would be those which I have listed here. So this would be H and I marketing software hardware investment in general, and then you would list the daily tasks underneath there.
So this is just a brief introduction to the plan or hub, the nice thing about this hub is that I can see the status of where I’m at at all times. Here I also see the tasks as they appear, I can see which ones have started, which ones are late things of that nature. I can also group these based on progress, due date, etc.
