First of all we’ll look at the about Me section, when you first log in to your account, be sure to put in the information about yourself so that we can make sure everything is accurate, sometimes your counselor will put this in for you.
You need to check and make sure that it’s accurate, then you’ll want to go to the my family section where you will enter information about your parents and siblings, please be sure to enter all parents who you would like to have copied on emails and make sure you put the correct email address in for them.

The application details tab is also something that will go into another video, but once you have established the list of colleges that you’re interested in applying to, you will complete the admissions details and decide whether you’re going to apply early action, early decision, priority or regular and whether you’re going to do financial aid and what the requirements are for that school.
Once you put all this in, you will have an action plan, you’ll have be able to track your application progress, this is very powerful as well because you can view everything that you need to complete by college, by due date or by milestone.
If we want to look by due date, we will see everything that is due for every college on the date that it needs to be submitted, you can edit where it says the status and put in any changes that you have made, the next tab is my decisions.
This is where you will be able to put in your acceptance, enrolling, wait-listed, deferred, denied, submitted pending to keep track of all of your college applications, this is a handy tab to email your advisor, we can all keep track of the communication between each other, the parents, counselor and student can all be on the same page.
