Description: The topic of the article centers on target credit card login. You should be on guard long after a data breach occurs. Identity thieves may hold onto stolen personal information for a long time before attempting to use it to commit fraud.
Some bad news has come out. The Target Corporation has issued a statement that says that their servers have been hacked, this is not some small hack where their website will be down for a few days.
This is a major security breach where credit card information, debit card information, the the certification or authorization number on the back of your card, the expiration date on your card and all the information that is required to charge things to your card have been stolen.
Target is imploring you and I’m imploring you as well, because there are some people who don’t have time to check the news or they’re fed up with negativity in the news so they don’t watch it any more, I want to fill in the blanks for people who aren’t watching news lately to let you know that you should check your card, check your statements.
Don’t think that you’re special and you’ve dodged a bullet, Target says that this affects 40 million customers, don’t think that you’re special, check your card, check your statements and make sure that no one’s charging anything, I was recently on Yahoo site.
They said that there’s already a gentleman who’s been charged over a thousand dollars worth of fraudulent purchases, these hackers aren’t being frugal, they are being slick, they’re not pulling some entrapment like the movie with Sean Connery, they’re not pulling some move where they take a cent or two out of every single account.
They’re pulling bold moves where they take over a thousand dollars from customers at a time, I don’t know anybody who wouldn’t be hurt by losing a thousand dollars out of their account that they didn’t authorize, check your account, this is not a joke, this is not something I’m making up to to try to get a rise.
This is something that Target has officially said, forty million customers are affected by this, this is a point where I want to go off on my own tangent because I’m not a news reporter, I report these things, I tell these things because I care about the general populace but also I have opinions on these things.
This is where I go off on my own, companies like Target, Sony, Facebook or Google have been hacked recently, these are confirmed hacks, Google has been hacked recently, Facebook has been hacked recently, Sony has been hacked a few times recently.
They need to be hiring the most competent talent in the industry, I’m so fed up with these companies who choose to hire the people that they know or hire their brother-in-law, I’ve studied for the gaming industry, I know how the industry is.
People hire the people that they know or people that are related to them instead of hiring the most competent talent, I’ve seen it happen, I know how it goes, this is what needs to stop especially in sectors where the general populace is counting on this security.
When I walk into a store, I want to swipe my card, I want to walk out of there with my game, I want to feel secure, I don’t want to have to check my statements, I don’t have to check into the news report or go to cnn.com and see what’s going on and make sure that when I bought my game, I didn’t get ripped off.
I don’t want that to happen, these companies need to stop with their elitist attitude where they hire the people that they feel are on their level or feel that they have something in common with them, they need to be looking out for the average person who puts their faith and their money into these accounts.
When I put my card on file, I want to feel secure, I have met people in the public sector who have nothing to do with IT or networking or handling the Google’s accounts or networking, they are talented people who have the ability to change things as far as Internet code websites things like this.
I’ve met people who have these abilities, this is the thing that troubles me, because they’re working in the public sector, they’re not hired by these companies, that’s the type of thing that breeds deceit as a type of thing that breeds people who are upset with the overall status quo of the hiring practices by these companies.
It needs to stop, these companies that we trust need to start hiring the people who are most competent, they need to check that the grades in college, they need to check who’s the best in these classes, they need to be recruiting these people out of college.
If these people get passed over, have to walk into the public sector and work in a retail job or work in sanitation, when these people hit those type of jobs and they know that they’re better than that as far as networking, computer networking or coding programming, that’s what breeds this situation where people are saying that they can come out ahead because they are smarter than the people that Sony hired.
This is something that I’m saying to these companies, take your time, do your research, hire the people who are best for the job instead of hiring who you feel like hiring because that’s not working, you have cost us a lot of money, you’ve cost us a lot of security and confidence because we are not confident in these companies anymore.
As far as the people I talked to there’s no confidence anymore, people’s confidence is going way downhill, because of this the overall happiness and security of the people has been compromised along with this information, Target are on blast, Sony are on blast, Google are on blast, anybody else who is taking people’s credit card information and not hiring the best people to protect that is on blast too.
