Description: The article is about vudu login. Disc To Digital conversion is one of the highlights of VUDU. You can scan bar codes of your physical movies on an iPhone or iPad to add digital copies of your physical DVDs and Blu-rays to your VUDU and Movies Anywhere digital lockers, but the things has changed now.
I’ve been a longtime fan of Vudu’s discs to digital service, it’s a way that you can use on a desktop or a mobile application, you can convert some of your physical movies to downloadable digital HD movies, that’s an important service, there are a vast majority of physical discs that don’t come packaged with movies anywhere or ultraviolet code to download a copy of your movie.
It has also been a great way to turn older movies that may not have a Blu-ray released to HD copy. Sometimes that’s the only way to get an HD copy of some movies. This I married an axe murderer hasn’t been updated with a newer version that has a digital HD copy, I am going to scan it with my mobile application, you can scan the barcode for Blu-rays to get a copy with two bucks.
This is an eligible title. The iOS application is saying that you can’t do disk to digital in the application anymore. I got scared because I don’t want this service to go away. It has tied to ultraviolet, that’s the last legs with movies anywhere. It is becoming more prominent.
I like disc to digital service, I know that I can still do it on the desktop, but it doesn’t work on my Mac. I’ve uninstalled Adobe AIR and the program, I tried to redo it many times, it never worked on my Mac. I’ve done it on my Windows 10 desktop with a Blu-ray drive, I’ve been able to convert Blu-rays and DVDs in that way, but it’s clunky.
When I try to do this in the desktop, it’s still very clunky. I looked this up on the internet, they’ve made this through the browser. You have to go to vudu.com/disk to do this. You have to go through all the checks, you need to have your location service on, you have to be at your physical billing address location.
There’s still the hundred movies limit on this. You can snap a picture of the barcode and upload it instead of snapping with the application. I was able to convert it, but this is going to be a real pain. I have to bookmark vudu.com.disc as an icon on my home screen to do it. I have to do this whole separate mechanism outside of the application. The good news is that it’s still possible, you can still do it in Android, they still show it on the website.
I am not sure why it came off form the iOS application but it’s still possible, that’s the good news. I’m hoping that they can improve it, they can figure out the problems. There are still a lot of new Blu-rays and DVDs out there. I don’t understand that, that doesn’t have digital copies. A digital Locker is a good thing.
This disc to digital was a good way to bridge that gap. Hopefully they can improve it. If you have an iPhone, you need to go to Vodacom/disk in your browser on your iPhone to do the disk to digital service. You can give me your thoughts, you can let me know what your experience is with this disc to digital service. You can give me your whole thoughts on digital movies in general.
