Description: The article is about vystar login. The vice president of lending services for VyStar Credit Union gives a testimonial on his company’s experiences with CRIF Lending Solutions and the CRIF Select Indirect Lending Partner Program.
We consider them,we have vendor partners,we consider CRIF as a partner. We can’t achieve our level of success without them,I think we can do the same for our side of the business as well.
On the crystal X site,it became a point of economies of scale for us that we’re always trying to control cost and they’ve helped us do that. It is very steady and very easy. They’ve been a great partner,we’ve expanded not only our dealer presence but also our ability to serve more members in our 22 County area.
It has easy access to service our dealers. On the user inside,it’s very clear and concise. There is a platform that creates a lot of efficiencies for us as we fund and service our dealers and members. One thing they’ve been able to help us do is to get out and get entrenched in the dealer market,we have an excellent dealer representative that represents our program along with our indirect lending business development manager.
We partner with them to take care of our dealers and to build those relationships,we can keep them constant and keep them consistent so the dealers know that we’re always willing to help, that has been an exponential factor in helping us control cost. Full-time employees are expensive, our partnership with Chris helps us to control the cost.
One of our biggest part would be on the indirect site. When I came into the credit union about ten years ago,we were primarily known as a lender. We partnered with CRIF to become that full-spectrum lender within our auto lending space,we are generally the number one used-car lender in the Jacksonville market.
We are usually in the top five in new auto lending institutions. They’ve helped us to do that. We’ve had a partnership with Chris for the better part of 15 years now, they were the partner of choice when I came into the credit union.
We’re always constantly looking at our partnerships and seeing who’s providing the latest and greatest technology,we’ve benchmarked CRIF against others in the past and CRIF has been the choice for us for a number of reasons, they’re easy to do business with, their cost efficient is great, they’re a great partner when it comes to how can we tweak and modify the system,it suits our needs as we service our membership dealers.
They’re a great business partner. You can call them and they will consider what they’re doing to assist,if they can’t do it,then they will give you a a reasonable time frame when they maybe help that project or that information back to our groups. They continually make those decisions and make those adjustments on the fly.
I would go back to economy as a skill,in our shop we’re a fairly large credit union under seven billion,we have some expertise in our lending shop,a lot of credit unions don’t have that advantage. Their industry knowledge is probably far greater than any other vendor we’ve looked at,especially greater than some of their competitors.
They’re the zenith of the indirect lending world, when it comes to a partnership, you may not have that expertise on your own staff. We have a specific dealer representative that only represents the vice to our product. We have a fairly large geographical territory all the way down from Jacksonville Florida down through Central Florida.
We have compassed 22 counties. We have about 240 dealers currently,it’s a constant struggle to get out and mingle and entertain and keep those loyalties to build those relationships. Chris has been very accommodating when it comes to that aspect of the business. I would consider them a one-stop shop.
Depending on your individual needs as a credit union, they are very flexible, they know how to support and integrate with your team, they’ve been a great partner from that perspective,we like to do our own underwriting in our shop. We probably have much more knowledge and expertise than the average credit union when it comes to indirect. Indirect lending is a relatively new space for most credit unions and we’ve been in it for a number of years.
